When the game ends and I can't accept it, so I start a new game immediately: "Watch me, rewind our clocks back to the start!"

The moment we didn't want the couples to be seperated was the moment we turned into Moebius. We wanted the endless now.

The moment the party started running to each other destroyed me the most. The desperate expressions of not wanting to leave their partners on their faces. Noah and Mio reaching out for each other. They looked so close yet so far, drifting further and further away.

The noise I made when Poppi jumped out of that machine and ran towards Nia, man I loved every second of this game

The xenoblade series DESPERATELY needs more recognition. It’s such a shame that they are so unpopular. People are really missing out on such an incredible experience.

My dog died while I was playing through this game. When I heard this song, I absolutely lost it. This game taught me to enjoy the moments that won't last forever 🥹

This cutscene was genuinely incredible. Every single shot was perfect in my opinion. Between the use of non-spoken context clues to show how close Lanz and Sena grew when they were able to completely non-verbally communicate their fist bump, before Sena begins to cry, the fact that Taion couldn't figure out why he was 4th, and Eunie seeming all too happy about it potentially hinting at him being 4th because Eunie's love for Fortune Clovers meaning that she holds the 4th place spot as her favorite, Riku and Manana's funny yet still heartbreaking hug and sobbing, and of course the long awaited kiss between Noah and Mio, giving closure to both them, and to an extent N and M. The shots of all of the Kevesi, Agnian, and City dwelling heroes smiling, including Ethel and Cammuravi, the scene where the Mio and Noah being forced apart by the splitting of the worlds. The reveals of Melia having kept the Monado from Future Connected (I think, I actually haven't gotten to Future Connected lol) and Nia having both Poppi and the picture of her found family (Giga-Chad Rex included) The subtle details in the running, like Taion's trip, and when they finally reach the cliffs between them, Taion falling to his knees broke me, seeing these friends (and honestly probably unconfessed lovers) being ripped apart was devastating. The post credit scene confirming that it wasn't just some dream. Noah hearing the offseeing tune that he and his lover would play so often confirming that it wasn't just a dream, it was real, was an incredible way to end it. Sure there were some issues with lose threads, but 1. This final pair of cutscenes are NOT part of that issue, and 2. I'm confident that the story expansion will be able to wrap up those loose threads. Torna was great as a prequel, but I desperately hope what we get is a sequel. No clue how Monolith will go about it, but hey, I'm not getting paid to write stories. I'm just the one who loved this one, the story of Xenoblade 3, more than any other game.

I love that they added the moment where they ran to each other. Like they were all trying to keep a brave face and be optimisitc... But in the end they couldn't hold it together, which is just such a genuine human reaction.

The moment they started running for each other is the moment I cried at a video game for the first time. Even Ch 5 didn't get me as hard. It was just so sad, seeing the six of them running toward each other, eyes locked on their partner. I'm a very emotionally stunted person, so if a game can make me cry.......GOTY for me

Im mainly writting this for myself, and I could be entirely wrong about the games message, but I think the ending represents what I think the core message of the game is. Not everything lasts forever, it sucks when something ends whether it be the life of a loved one, the end of a friendship, or the end of a third entry of a game. A lot of us want that something to last forever, but if we get stuck on that infinite now we will never change, its ok to want that something to last but sooner or later, we have to move on, and while we could forever be in grief and regret about what we lost, we can also look back at the smiles those things gave us, be inspired by that joy and replicate that something to change the future, move on, and make others feel that joy. Something along those lines, again I could be very wrong abt the message, I just finished the game and there are many thoughts on my mind right now (mainly post xeno depression) but I at least want to say, thank you xenoblade, no franchise has me crying over fictional characters this much, to think a simple wii game would end up becoming an emotional roller coaster franchise is just weird to me, but again, i love this franchise too much, ty.

First Xenoblade ending to make me cry. Heck I cried a few times during this game, which doesn't ever happen. I really connected with these characters and the story was top tier. Loved the journey

The irony of Moebius is that once the game is over, we're brought back to right outside the final boss door. The game will never "end" for us, meaning when we play the game, it will always be in the endless now. Moebius is the player.

I can’t even begin to describe how this game made me feel. As someone who’s going through a difficult time in their life, a time where I find myself afraid to go forward and change with the world around me, to have to leave my own childhood behind and “grow up”, it was especially hard to see the characters of this game, after growing with each other, and becoming people who *wanted* to change, to people who *wanted* to grow after years and even alternate lifetimes of thinking they were only made to do one thing with their lives, and then even saying goodbye to each other, literally racing towards each other as their respective universes split back apart, it reminded me that I can grow and change with a new mindset while still being me, while still being a person who can go on my own path despite everything I was told I could only do and accomplish before. I’m sorry if that didn’t make any sense. I’m sorry if it was just a bunch of gibberish written a grown man who just had his heart broken by a video game. But I am so shattered by this beautiful ending, that I don’t think I can think straight right now. So long story short, thank you Monolith Soft, Nintendo, the talented Japanese and English voice actors who brought these characters to life effortlessly, and the this amazing fan base for creating one of the best gaming experiences I’ve ever had!

(XB3 DLC Spoilers) My god. That ending scene made me so happy. So, so happy. Such a simple thing, but damn if it didn’t hit me so hard. 3’s ending made me cry like a baby, but now, it’s all worth it. Yes. Yes. They can now, finally and truly, be together again. Happy.

The ending is as cruel as the entire story. It gave me severe depression.

Personally I think everyone who is asking for a sequel/epilogue with the dlc is missing the point of the ending/game. The whole ouroborus group probably all wanted that endless now in the final moments more than anything. The characters and the players don't want to say goodbye to these people they've come to know and love. If they chose to hold onto that forever they'd be no better than mobieus. They have to move on. Everyone has a path in life with choices and sometimes those choices are heartbreaking but we must keep moving forward. It'd the only way that allows us to grow. That's why the ending is so bittersweet. It's representative of how all life wants that endless now but we have to stay walking forward on this path. It's truly a beautiful and deep ending. Whatever the dlc is I know it'll be just as beautiful as this.

Finished the game today, really hit me hard, not felt this level of emotion from a game like that in a very very long time. I kind of hope the upcoming story scenario will expand upon this ending, even just a glimpse at least of the worlds becoming one, after all, it is inevitable, unless I'm mistaken. I do kind of doubt this will be the dlc, probably the past, with history of the Sword, as well as founders. If that's the case, probably a teaser in Xenoblade 4 about this, if that's a thing one day.

Gosh I love the Xeno series. This is where a video game/movie finally broke me. This scene was the first time I have ever cried for a video game or movie character, a few others I've teared up (xc2, Kingdom Hearts etc) but right here I was full on crying, trying to reach the person you love and being just out of arms reach and promising to see each other again against all hope... is so sad and great I love it and I hope the DLC story brings them back together for a happy ending

I don't really think there is a saga like Xenoblade. Every Single Game is so freaking good. It has the best OST I ever heard, the best cutscenes and incredible characters. The only bad thing you can say about xenoblade is that the games may feel rushed in some aspects, even tho they take a few years to make them. They are extremely massive games for a low-mid performance console like Switch and its normal to feel the quality drops in some point of the game since every Single one has +80h gameplay. Xenoblades are such an ambicious games, limited by time and his console.

you know, ever since I originally played it in early 2018, I considered XC2 to be my favorite game of all time - it helped me through my first break-up and kind of taught me to move on. I even retroactively bought the collectors edition for $250 (i am insane) bought the full OST cd set, and went to 6 different stores to track down the pyra and mythra amiibo on release day. but, the more time that has passed since I completed 3, my thoughts and emotions have finally sunk in and settled, and I really think it's one of the most beautiful games I've played and has surpassed 2 for me. I've never been so excited for a video game before, and while it wasn't what I envisioned, and didn't answer all of my questions, it was an amazing experience that left a big impact on me. I don't know if I'll ever be able to re-play it, as great of a game as it is, and I hope the franchise reaches ever higher peaks going forward. Xenoblade as a whole means a lot to me, as silly as it may sound.

this ending had me crying the hardest I have at any media i think. I really hope the dlc isn't JUST a prologue to the events of 3, and we get at least a little bit of an epilogue for this cast.

This scene hit me harder than Mio hitting Moebius.

I was touched but still okay before this scene started. My first playthrough was streamed, and despite wanting to hold it in, the miniscule audience I had heard me cry... Something that I haven't done over a game in seven years... Everybody says this was our Moebius moment, and I can agree with that... But above all else... Above EVERYTHING else... This was the scene that left me in complete, utter awe. My stream had no ending transition. No scene change, no ending theme... Just me in silence, sitting in complete utter awe with only the words "wow" and "incredible" being said without difficulty. Now, it's the postgame, and yet through it all, I still feel that sense of awe. I was a huge fan of Xenoblade 1, and yet, already, I've put more hours into 3 than 1. It was a game that sucked me in for hours upon hours, and in the end, my review goes as this. "Xenoblade 3 is not a game, but rather, an EXPERIENCE. You WILL experience and witness things in this game beyond your imagination. You'll laugh, you'll seethe with rage, you'll cry, but above all of that... You will look at yourself and the world around you with a whole different light that you would never see otherwise. So go outside, appreciate the small things in life, because someday, that beauty will fade, as all things do. Eventually, us too as people will meet that same fate. But until then... We just have to keep moving forward."

When this ending leaked a lot of people hated it, but overall I actually quite like it (obviously spoilers incoming). The party destroyed the world because it was created out of mankind's desire for stagnation and fear of moving forward, and the contrast of N choosing to wallow in it out of a single-minded obsession with M while Noah and Mio support eachother so they can keep going forward and fix the worlds, even at the expense of their relationship and memories, did a lot for me. In general this is one of those times where the ending of a story undoing itself hit hard in a good way, because it makes perfect thematic sense. There are definite issues with the writing, but the themes and ending aren't among them.

The only piece of media ever that has legit made me burst out crying in the ending. It's been a couple of weeks since I finished it and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. There were some loose treats and stuff unanswered yeah, It's not a perfect game but man, It was definitely one of the most special. A rollercoaster of emotions from beginning to end

After finishing all 3 xenoblades now, I can truly say that maybe... just maybe, i'll play a game better than xenoblade 3, but I doubt I'll ever play a series better than xenoblade

I just finished the game. And my god, this is the most beautiful, best game ever. It hits even harder I'm starting a new chapter in my life as well.

Can't believe that I already finished this game. If I had the chance to forget everything about it and play it again I would. The ending just made me think about what N wanted. He wanted the moment between him and M to never end. He feared that they would never see each other again so he choose the "forever now". I now understand how N felled. You don't want everything to go away. You want to hold onto your loved ones and never lose them. N had the chance to stop that factor of life and so he choose the "forever now". I hated him throughout the game for everything he has done but now I understand why he did the things he did. If you had to choose between accepting the death of your loved ones (and never see them again) or to live with them forever what would you choose? My decision stands with the "forever now". I couldn't bare the pain of not seeing my loved ones ever again. Crazy to think that the game gave me these thoughts. Never have I ever played a game like this. Truly amazing.

One of those moments that make you really choke up for a moment. Those moment I love the most about JRPGs.

I think way more than 1, this game's theme of moving towards the future got me. Part of it is just context. The future feels so much scarier and less certain now than it did when 1 was released. I'm older, more aware of the world, a different person really. But also, in 3, the future isn't all good, yet the characters still walk towards it. Because you can't just spend an eternity standing still. Not just because the world will move on without you, but because if you do that, you won't grow as a person. Standing still takes sacrifices and is ultimately even if it feels like the most comfortable option when every route forwards scares you. I think since covid started, a lot of shit for me went down. Not just covid shit, but also mental health shit and leaving shitty family shit. Starting college shit too, which I couldn't really do because all the shit was doing wonders for my undiagnosed depression. So, I was struggling to really move in any direction, can't blame myself for it. Anyways I had to take half a year off because of all the shit plus some other health shit. But even though I definitely want to move forwards, on some level, I'm still very afraid of doing so. Some of its uncertainty on whether I can do it, but a lot of it that I'm normally too prideful to admit is that staying still and doing nothing is just more comfortable than putting actual fucking work into my future. But maybe it's not that I'm too proud to admit it but that I'm too ashamed, because I know thinking that isn't helping anyone and I know that time marches on with or without me. But I think Xenoblade 3's ending just really got to me because these characters are moving towards a harder, uncertain future, away from their loved ones, and they're doing it while scared. It's not a perfect ending for them, it hurts a lot really, but embrace it anyways. Idk, but something about that and experiencing this game just makes me feel a little more ready to face my own future.

I cried so much in the ending. This hit me hard like when KOS-MOS was floating in space at the end of Xenosaga Episode III. This is just as good as Maybe tomorrow and equally sad.

Finished the game last night. I mean this from the bottom from my heart. This game changed my life. I learned so many valuable lessons and the story, characters, music and gameplay was phenomenal. I’ve never cried this much during a video game specifically the end of Chapter 5, Start of Chapter 6 and the beautiful final cutscene. Thank you Monolithsoft for crafting this beautiful culmination of a masterful series.

Finally coming here to properly check out the song, all the sobbing really didn't help to listening back when I was playing.

I got spoiled on the ending and mentally prepared for it throughout the game, but I still bawled my eyes out at the moment they began to run towards each other. I don't cry easily. This is the most emotionally effected I've been by any fictional media. I cried of both sadness and hope that they will one day see each other again.

In case you avent finished the game welp: *SPOILERS* I'm listening to this literally on 3 am of my birthday because i wanted to do a mini marathon of every favourite xenoblade ost of 1 2 and 3 i have and man i remember when i saw melia and nia keepings memories, one with the monado REX and the other with the photo of everyone and poppi. I just broke in fucking tears, not because it's fan service thing but because i had this impression through the game that the prequel were "forgotten". Not in the way of monolith not remembering them but in the "game lore way" (except from obviously, duh nia and melia and whole ass transformer alcamoth) bringing this feeling of lost forgotten and that it can't be aknowlegd by anyone (like how in the game no one ask themselfs why a mountain is shaped like a fucking giant fish). But when i see those thing i understood that for nia and melia they were everything but forgotten, they were still carrying the ideals that their journey awoken in them and the duty to transmit those to next generation, that why i broke in tears like a baby. I realized like how much the xenoblade saga changed my life, i started from xc2 when i was 12 and then got back to 1 with the definitve edition at 16, today i turn 18 and even if it seems little to an external prospective this trilogy accompanied through my growth and made what i am today. Thank you monolith for these games, i will never be enough grateful of how you changed my life forever and though me how to move forward.

I loved Xenoblade 3. Like the games before, it was an experience. However, like the game’s theme tells us, it was time to move onward to the future. There will be other great games and experiences to look forward to. I’m sure I’ll play the DLC, and I might play another walkthrough someday. For now, thanks for the fun memories.
