I'm 44 years old now and been playing RPG for more than 20 years and still no game can surpassed Xenogears in terms of the storyline and Ost, really hope that SE could remake this masterpiece while im still alive.

Back in 1998 I downloaded this OST off of some FTP that had a ton of video game soundtracks, and I loved it and listened to it for years. Somewhere along the way, all my old mp3s got lost and I've wished I could track this down again ever since. I even went searching for import CDs, or looking on various music stores for it, but couldn't find anywhere I could buy it. It's so awesome to find it again after all this time.
These are actually Xenogears Myth (from Dark Dawn to A Distant Promise), an orchestration tribute of the ost, and Xenogears Creid (from Melkava to Mobius), a tribute albun featuring more prominent celtic influence.

What an incredible amazing remastered version of ost. This version make so much better.. Was nostalgia of the game and only left ost to remind me from time to time not to forget such a beautiful game..
Damn, these are some glorious arrangements. Very cute Emeralda art, too. Love that Octuber Mermaid got two tracks in here, it's my favorite one of the original ost.
Alot of people forgot that Emeralda has a grown up side quest. I found it by accident one time by leveling up in that hidden city. She became more badass.
@@kevynhansyn2902 Very much so. Probably my favorite character. A shame she makes it to the party so late, so that we can't really see her properly develop as a character. Instead she goes from kid to squid.
@@Blakobness I don't remember her getting in that late. Maybe because i was level grinding and it seemed as if it was forever. However once she grown up, it was just a great story (it may have been short I guess) arc and I kept her in my party for the long haul. Of course it's been over 20 years since I played it.
I wonder who owns the right to this rendition. I assume square Enix. I am making an rpg and would really like to recycle this Playlist for my game. I don't have much money as we are 2 family members making a video game for fun but if they don't ask for much I'd pay. I'd be willing to do a flat rate plus a percentage of sales. This music is my favorite.

Emerelda is probably my favorite character from the game. It's just a shame that once you get her adult form you have basically no more battles outside of gears. Where did you get this Emerelda art for the background and thumbnail?
