I fumbled the sweetest and most genuine girl I've ever met. She was the first person to show me what soft love really is. The only person to make me understand what it meant to actually be "IN LOVE". She always said that we could overcome every problem we encounter in our relationship as long as we had " TRUST and COMMUNICATIONS "... so a month ago i received messages from two "friends" that "my girlfriend cheated on me", and then i questioned her, which she obviously denied and tried to explain that she has absolutely no reason to. I refused to believe her called her multiple names that i never thought i would ever call her, And I break up with her.The next day i refused to pick up her calls so She texted me lots of paragraphs explaining that she loves me very much and she would never do that but she won't beg me to trust or love her again... 2 weeks ago i tried to "get back" at her by posting a video of me kissing a girl she knows, and i made sure she saw it too..she blocked me on every single platform after that.. 3 days ago, those two "friends" texted saying that they were just dared to send me that message and they were told to only tell me that it was dare after a month, turns out it was just a "prank" they were doing... and now i realize that i deeply hurt my girlfriend a lot, i somehow made the person i care about cry so much,i called her a bunch of names, and yelled at her a lot which i've never done, and to think i trusted some randoms over my girlfriend, and just let my whole relationship sink all because i refused to trust her.. all she's ever done is go all out for the people she loves, i'm just imagining how she felt when she saw that video i posted, when i yelled at her and said a bunch of things she didn't deserve (knowing very well that words really affect her),i left her completely alone and it didn't even cross my mind that it could just be a misunderstanding, and can't even apologize because i'm blocked and i tried seeing her in person but it didn't work.. i just know i've killed the lover girl in her and really want to know how she's doing, i've refreshed your page so many times to see if she's left any comments on your recent videos but to no avail.. i'm really disappointed in myself and i still really really do love her but i don't know what to do💔

Hey luv. Wooow. I really don’t know where to start. I’m going to leave my initial thoughts, and then if you want to get deeper into this, let me know if you want to continue with private messages on twitter or if you’re fine with this being public on yt comments. First of all, a hug for you because I can only imagine the rage, pain and frustration you felt when you learnt that your supposed “friends” thought it would be a good idea to play with your relationship and happiness with such a terrible lie❤️. Now, some truths. My mother always tells me to be careful with “friends” because the snake that will bite you will come from your own backyard. It means it is the ones closest to us that have the power to do us the most harm. I can’t even tell you how many stories I’ve heard of “friends” like this destroying relationships, marriages, other friendships and more, sometimes out of jealousy, sometimes, bitterness, sometimes just pure wickedness or immaturity. One thing you never, ever, ever do, is lash out at someone without evidence. You can’t control the b.s. people bring to you, but you can make damn sure that if you’re going to take a step as permanent as breaking up with your girlfriend, you are really damn sure she did what they said she did. My questions would be when did she cheat, who did she cheat with, when was this, where is the evidence. Does she have an alibi? No video? No audio? No nothing? What kind of person tells you someone cheated and has nothing to back that up? My next step would have been talking to her and asking for what I needed to feel safe. To me, it sounds like your reaction was either a trauma response where you’ve experienced a betrayal like that, hence the lashing out, or it was a form of self-sabotage because a part of you couldn’t believe the relationship you had is real and so you jumped on the first sign you had that it wasn’t. I don’t think I need to tell you that two wrongs don’t make a right and trying to “get back at her” for something you have not confirmed she did in the first place was just a very big no no. To me, it seems like the critical point of failure here is that the necessary steps weren’t taken to validate the information you got from these “friends” before you acted on it. I think you probably also know that clear communication, even when you are hurt or angry is a must. Not picking calls, or answering texts is a form of emotional blackmail in some ways. It’s called passive communication and leaves much to be desired in relationship. If you need time, the best thing is to clearly say so and state the time you need. If you’re angry, or hurt, or confused, say so. This is active communication and it’s what we should all be practicing. I’m guilty of slipping into passive communication too so this will be a learning experience for us both. I think what’s most important isn’t how we treat people when things are great, or happy but in moments like this, when you’re angry or hurt. And now you’ve seen that you have some work to do to grow as a person so that the next time you’re in a rough space, you don’t resort to insults, or yelling, or not picking calls, or trying to cause the other pain, but regardless of who is at fault, you resolve it in a way that leaves you smiling when you remember the person you were in that moment. About what to do, I would say, don’t hound her. She deserves some time and space because it sounds like you really did hurt her quite a bit bud. That being said, be consistent. See if you can reach out to her again, and try periodically until you do. Understand though that just because you’re sorry doesn’t mean things will get fixed on your timeline. She may not be ready to see you for weeks or months. But I think if you really love her, she’s worth it. You’ve broken trust, and now, if she consents to letting you make it up to her, you’ll have to earn it back slowly but surely. All this to say, don’t give up. Keep trying consistently, but don’t hound her because that’s not fair either. If she has a friend who was in favour of your relationship, maybe you could reach out to them, explain what happened and see if they could help facilitate a meeting between the two of you or at least pass on the message that you’re sorry and want to talk about what happened. That being said, I am in no way a marriage or relationship counsellor, so do what seems best. Cheers luv and I really hope you two are able to work things out.
