I just got a decant - this is a beautiful fragrance. To my nose the carnation stands out more than I was expecting, but in a sophisticated way. This is stunning!
Glad to hear your take on this one man. Have you heard anything on Etat Libre de orange "Tom of Finland"? A reviewer had said it was a straight up Rootbeer float. He said it was hard to find an occasion to wear it. I may get a sample of this and that now. My interest is officially peaked LOL.
Bruuuhhhh, two sprays on my hand and that bad boy simmered for about 1 minute then swiftly bounced up my olfactory holes and tickled my favorite parts of my brains!!! Ooh la-la this is good! And your right, where was the HYPE?!? Darn good review Bro, darn good review!

Lira is a super sweet gourmand. I love sweet fragrances but it was feminine and way too sweet for me. I had a 10 ml sample I gave to my fiance. Great quality though.

What I meant is I find 1888 Cas is a lot of fun, and that there are not many better alternatives. Gives me Ginger Ale vibes and makes me feel youthful. But as you have posed the question, other fragrances that put me in a fun mood include: Versace Eros, TM Pure Zest, L’Homme Ideal EDP/Cologne, Killian’s Black Phantom, and PDM’s Layton. But in earnest, nothing quite makes me feel like having fun in the same way 1888 does. It’s got energy.

Let me ask you this--if you really like the stuff, would you wear it as much if it didn't result in the compliments you're apparently so starved for? When you're resorting to posting videos about your "Top 10 frags for Compliments," this is clearly all ego driven.
