Hey guys, sorry for pinning this comment on all videos but I want to give you an update on the channel. I've been slowly adding a show archive to the videos including a full transcript added as sub titles and a full track listing (with links to RU-vid videos for each track). Pilkipedia archive link has been added as well and I've been having fun illustrating some of KP's best bits, I'm adding these to a shop incase anyone is interested: www.man-moth.com/ It's taking me a while to update the archives, especially as I don't work Mondays so please bear with me as I chip away at it. Lots of love, Man Moth.
@@mkenne14I hope you can see the irony in responding with "not really" to someone pointing out clear evidence of Steve coming up with a clever, original response on the spot. You might not find it funny, but Steve is fast with picking up on cues.
@omikronweapon It's not really clear evidence I've listened to it myself and I didn't think it was funny. You're opinion is different but I don't think he's as 'quick as a whip'. I find his jokes unfunny and usually mean spirited but each to their own.
I'm starting to think like Karl Pilkington. When he first mentioned the guy with lizard skin, I thought "He could've done that as an Educating Ricky thing and made the teaser headline 'Lizard Skynyrd"
Steve: "Elton John, you know, who started the biggest selling hit record, didn't he?, off the back of that..." Karl: "hmmm" Steve: "I mean so, is he incriminated as well?.... Karl: "if you want" HAHAHAHAHA
Can I just say, I’ve lived in Cornwall all my life and I drive past the Monkey Sanctuary that Karl’s on about every week on my way to church. I’ve never popped in though, I’ve heard it’s not very good.
@@AndrewLavers Haha. Me too. Frequently! It's still going isn't it? Yeah, I'm pretty sure that might be the one. It had tanks and the war museum/Victorian village, house of mirrors and I remember all the gnomes too! Must be! Imagine seeing the little baldy whinging Manc with his parents! 🤣 x
@@maximumbeans9310 Haha. Yeah, I'm still here, brother. Been listening to these shows regularly for a decade now, averaging four per day. They're like medicine to me. I don't know if I should be sectioned or what. x
Just the other day I found someone's card at the shops. Could've used paywave to get summit but I just slipped it through the doors of a closed police beat.
Ha ha he he ho ho...It begins with Karl's giggling. Thought maybe this one would be cheerful. 2 minutes in...and Steve and Karl already in an argument. Love it!
Steve: He twisted his ankle and had to be wheeled around in a wheelchair because he went out jogging, stepped on a tin can in the street and fell over. *Ricky: Who left that there??*
I feel like Steve saying the emails complained that it was the worst Rockbusters ever because it was too easy created a supervillain and some of the impossible Rockbusters to come in the future.
Is there anyone else who is baffled by the fact Karl speaks about how Father's Day is a con and that his dad has told him to never get him a card, and then less than five minutes later he tells a story about buying his dad a Father's Day card in WHSmith?
10:30 I remember hearing this go out live and thought: if you had rinsed their account out, they could have argued it was a robbery; cos you took 30 quid out, they wouldn't have been able to claim it back.
I really hate to say this, but I think I would have with-drawn a hell of a lot more money than £30. Like if the card was sat there and ready for the money to be taken, I wouldn't have just withdrawn a lot more. Not all of it, cos then you've probably screwed them right over. But yeah, I'd have taken a lot more than £30! Am I that much of a bad person for saying that? Oh and also, I'd be careful with how I spent it. Ie. I wouldn't just go out and blow it all on one thing, cos that'd be a bit dangerous.
If they have loads of money and I could, I'd take a bit and give it to some charity or homeless person nearby. But not much, because they could be saving up for a marriage or something.
Every time I hear about that Steve story and the ATM I'm shocked all over again. Not only that but he actually thinks it was justified all these years later. He's the type of bloke who gets into a huff because of 50p yet he steals others money and thinks it's good. I can't get my head around that.
True. Its like checking everyone's door, and if you find one unlocked you can just help yourself because they had had a brain fart. Sure you could... but you'd be a thief just the same as if you'd broken a window. I think he only said it because of the shock value tho. I don't think leaving an atm card in would just leave the account open. Im 38, and since I can remember of atms, if you left card in it'd ask for pin again after 1 minute if inactivity. Then after series of beeps, it'd just confiscate the card
I don't get why Steve gets all the abuse in comments vis a vis his taking of the £30. Not that I'm defending him, but Karl said he'd have done the same, and yet he seems to get off scot free. Why is that?
I can't believe Steve took that money... there's a big difference between keeping $30 that you find on the street and actually withdrawing it from a person's bank account. Even finding a wallet, keeping a few dollars, and returning the lost wallet to the owner with all the cards and everything is not as bad as that. He is not a good person.
@@Dprkr1 So because they didn't do something bad, they deserve to get rewarded ? I don't think people should get rewarded for NOT doing bad things, that should just be common human decency . I mean if you drop a wallet in Japan, there is no shot its being rifled through or nicked, it's getting delivered to the nearest police station. And no one expects a reward for it .
Ivar the Boneless. It’s actually interesting because Ivar, of course, was a danish viking. In danish that would be “Ivar Benløs” which translates to “Ivar the Legless” - not “boneless”, but the words ‘ben’ and ‘bone’ are quite similar. Makes sense because he was of unable to walk.
