@@enamiasaace she's literally rapping like an idol, prolly the best idol rapper in her gen, but here in this specific comparison you can hear the huge difference between the two. Cocona sounds way more natural, had more drift and natural groove and swag, also knows how to use her voice very well, also have more dynamics. While i can commend Asa for her speed rapping, that's not all that is into rapping we both know that as Cocona can also rap as fast like that. I don't even have to explain it further here, just listen to the difference in their raps. It's crystal clear whose the better one, doesn't mean that the other one was bad tho cause they both good. It's just that Cocona is way better.

But the thing is that in terms of dynamics Asa is definitely better. Also , Whenever we call about that switch thing We have to go with Asa. She is sort of More versatile and promising rapper . She also is capable of good writing and composition skills People always underestimate that Asa is only an idol Rapper but when she sounds way better to be an idol Rapper. Cocona is a different TYPE of rapper; she's more hardcore while Asa is more mainstream. That doesn't make Cocona "better" than Asa. A lot of what you see onstage and in MVs is decided by the agencies, trainers, writers and composers. The people that are guiding XG decided to go the more hardcore route and the people behind BaeMon decided to stay more mainstream.

Neither hardcore OR mainstream makes one better than the other. Some people prefer hardcore; some people prefer mainstream. Maybe your misunderstanding is due to language differences.
Cocona already new she wanted to be a musician/rapper since she was in her first grade, where she even said that she wants to be the greatest musician and rapper someday, and it shows! She isn't just the type of a typical idol who got assigned to be the "rapper" of the group and went into training. She embodies HipHop and she deserves the recognition she's getting.

If we talk about CLARITY, DELIVERY AND FLOW obviously it's ASA. Her delivery, flow and pronunciation is clearer than cocona's CAREER. Don't exaggerate.
Cocona - again her English is clearer, her lower range added more flavor, her diction. I didn’t know Asa was rapping in English except on the end part. Again, they both have the swag and attitude but delivery wise, again its Cocona

I do think asa is talented, however there is a real difference between musicality and mimicry. Cocona has a natural flow and musicality, it literally oozes out of her. Her cadence is unique to her and shows maturation and dynamics, even at her young age. With Asa, unfortunately she’s what we call a parrot. She can mimic flow and cadence, but she doesn’t have that musicality and natural unique cadence like real rappers, like cocona do. That’s why Asa makes a great idol rapper, she can deliver what she’s given because she can mimic what she’s given. Cocona is a real rapper because she can deliver what SHE is giving. She’s already proven herself to be far more than what an idol rapper is. Both girls are talented, just in very different ways. YG knows how to make performers, but Simon (Jakops) has created ARTISTS.
Asa is standard Idol rapper material. Notice how Coco isn't doing anything exaggerated with her hands and facial expression, just spitting while really putting every word into action thru the audience reaction. You don't get that same feel from Asa. There ia a reason why Coco is praised by so many even actual rappers.
Cocona sounds like she joined the group as a rapper while Asa joined the group and was made a rapper. Cocona also raps in 3 languages with clear diction, flow control and emphasizes words
They both have different rap style, the only difference I think is that star power and stage presence while rapping and that swag that naturally Cocona effortlessly have 👌🏼😎

The flow change is more noticeable but I pointed out the tone change bec it was more interesting for me. Note how Cocona's voice is more monotonous throughout her performance while Asa's tone gets higher and lower but it's very controlled.
cocona is giving me a polished vibe. And a well experianced OG kpop stan can easily identify ASA as a trainee, cause she purely gives off trainy vibes. Even though ASA killed me with her rap..cocona's was whole another level. Plus COCONA wrote her own rap here even though ASA has changed some of the words as she was rapping drake's song.

Tbh Asa really just the type of idol rapper, that can talk fast, currently she doesn't have her own flow (will wait until she debut or write her own rap to judge but definitely still talented for idol rapper). As for cocona, she's more like a rapper, that's why there are many professional (especially western) rappers that recognized her talent as a rapper. Not to mention cocona verse is really that catchy 😩👌
