Jurin picking her BFF Amy wasn't a surprise, that is lifelong friendship. But even then, you could see the uncertainty and the stress of making the decision on her face as to which other members she would pick, and then having to eliminate Hikaru...heartbreak seeing her crying. I hated to think it but I was sort of glad Maju got smacked down with her plan to leave her group. I thought that the Le Sserafim doc was hard to watch. This is levels above.

Thank you always reactions to XTRA XTRA EP of XG. I was more surprised with each EP, especially EP 6 and 7 that made me cry a lot.

Simon is a genius. Man wanted to see how they'd manage under extremely stressful situations all while also trying to instill camaraderie in the whole group. The colored jerseys is not meant to be mean but a source of motivation. Its intended to make the yellow jerseys wearers see the other higher ranked members and make them try harder, to light a fire under them. To make them want to rank up and not just be complacent with their current standing. Its 200+IQ, 4D chess Simon is doing with his coaching/training methods.. When he asked the 3rd place team how they felt and to be honest, he was wanting them to show passion and conviction. He wanted them to FIGHT for their right to train and participate. He wanted to them to say "i deserve to be here and train, i can't accept this result", but sadly that wasn't the response he got. They all just sorta accepted their fate..

that was crazy from maju tho. sister removed herself from the team and earned a chance to be scouted by the other two better teams, and left three level c members by themselves😭

I felt so bad for Maju. Simon wants to see them make the difficult choice to show leadership in a stressful situation and she took the easy route which backfired on her.. I sincerely hope she's still pursuing this dream of being an artist/idol to this day, and/or has debuted either in kpop or jpop.

@@dizzymcdizz i hope so too that she's still continuing her dream. also i noticed that 3 out of the 4 trainees here who experienced becoming a leader became xg leaders later on. airi, jurin, and then chisa as a sub-leader. ✨

29:33 I think that is also why Maya was pushing so hard for Maju to ask Simon if she could still take dance lessons. Maya knew that Maju should have selected her to be eliminated. Simon had told Maya during the evaluation that she was the only one off beat and lagging behind.

Much to watch! Since Xtra Xtra was released, XG smilesnon screen and their performances became more meaningful. They went through a lot of challenges. They have been in veey though yet rewarding trainee days. No other studios has done something like this. No popularity issues, no audiences to influences decisions, just pure talents, real authority of staff/composers/choreographers to develop highly skilled individuals.

I love love HINATA’s moment. 😂💗🎉 She’s just pure and real. Love “DAD”. The members constantly proved they’re the absolute Dream Team. MAYA’s birthday 🥳 was adorable and I appreciate seeing them celebrate with her. 👏🏽 Simon is driven and will see that XG makes IT ALL the WAY. Thanks ☺️ for watching the XG journey. 🙋🏻‍♀️❤️‍🔥🐺

Maju should have selected Maya. Sure she would have been left leading an even weaker group than before and obviously the 3rd least talented team. It wouldn't give her very good odds of continuing but also it might have given her a chance to select one of the other members. Depending on what Jurin and Airi did. Maju did not follow what the assignment was which was to remove least necessary member.

Maju couldn't make the hard decision to eliminate one of her members. Airi and Jurin made that hard decision and removed the least necessary member in their group. By all rights Maju should have selected to remove Maya. Simon said to remove the least necessary member, Maya was the worst dancer at the time in that group.
