You know a song is good when your face makes an expression that makes you look like you hate it XD XG stay outdoing themselves, no one is doing it like them fr 🔥
This song along with the music video made every single hair on my body stand on end for it's entire duration, they outdid everything they've ever done my GOD
i’m still liking these garage and house songs for the most part bc they’re not bad yet! lol but xg did well again! really wondering what the rest of the album will sound like and what they decide to pick as another single! 💃🏾💃🏾 also that sample was fire
Fifi thanks again for an amazing reaction! You summed it up perfectly, it was just DIVINE. This is a masterpiece, my favourite track by XG thus far. The melodies just do it for me. I love the repetitive nature of that synth-like vocal riff and their robotic vocal tone throughout the chorus. There is a somewhat ethereal nature to the song that is just so appealing👌
And can you believe this is a b-side?????? This song is already amazing so I wonder how the title track will match up. The MV and the vocals for this song are so dreamy and ethereal
Finished work and the first thing I did was watch your reaction fifi! 🐍… I don’t blame you for pausing so much cause every little part of XG’s songs and mvs need dissected. The girls won’t let us breathe for onc second 😭 This exceeded my expectations!! The whole vibe was spacey and dreamy, everything I love & more🤌🏽🧚🏼♀️👾 I cannot wait for the mini album and to hear your thoughts 💚
Yep IYKYK< They do a lot fo 2 step grage style TLC Craig David vibes. Which is refreshing as a UK expat living in SE Asia. Check out Left Right if you wanna hear a 2 sstep Banger.. And Woke UP ISNANE< and SOmething Aint right. They are so good they have turned me an old, 30 year House dj into a frikking fan girl.
On the topic of garage production in terms of Y2K nostalgia similar to 80s city pop or disco it all comes down to variety for me. As long as producers ease up on it and mess with other sounds messed with from those eras it can stay fresh. Like how a G-Idle or Olivia Rodrigo can go for Y2K pop punk there's other avenues artists can take, but yeah variety is the name of the game for me. Don't wanna get to long winded lol
