The moment X-GENE started, I instinctively felt that this song was absolutely awesome. And it was so cool that I cried lol. In the puppet show, I cried again when I heard the melody and overwhelming vocals that appealed to my emotions lol. I think XG has further refined their identity and made it unique with this album. I have listened to many different kinds of music for over 30 years and XG still shows me new worlds. I can't help but feel something special about this group.
very solid first EP for XG. they really showcased how versatile they are and that they didn't come to play. So excited for the MV. I kinda like X-GENE a bit more than puppet show but both are very amazing tracks. first listen with x-gene, I felt like it needed to be longer but after listening to it a few times, it's perfect the way it is and set the tone to the entire album. XG never misses
I’m happy with the songs. They’re no SS and Left Right BUT they have their own gorgeous quality. Puppet Show is probably my fave from New Dna. Then XGene. WISH THEY MADE THAT LONGER

What people don’t realize either is how close the girls are with Simon. Most groups have a strictly business relationship with their producers and labels and that can hinge the longevity and vibe of a group
