yea, were still getting used to making the different distinctions over here. A couple months ago i had no idea that there even was a J-Pop or a P-Pop. everything was just presumed to be K-Pop out of ignorance. if i accidentally say k-pop its nothing personal, its just habit lol
You good, bro. J-pop never really got mainstream like K-pop did, so it makes sense to think they were K-pop. What didn't make sense to me was when people would still consider them K-pop even after knowing they were all Japanese! "Global," the word XG used to describe themselves wasn't cutting it for me, so I jokingly came up with X-pop and have been spamming it in the comments ever since I first heard them. It was just me at first, but now it is official. Jurin has said it in an interview and in her latest rap!😎
