Okay, besides this, for XG here is a small executive summary for you and your subscribers: XG is short for Xtraordinary Girls, their label is XGALX, which was more or less specifically created for them. Their debut was last year, technically they are still rookies. They are seven Japanese, age 18 to 21 as of now, who are based in South Korea and trained with the KPop idol methods ... to then perform NOT K-Pop, but instead mostly western style 90s/early 2000s rap and R&B oriented tracks. *Modern Old School*, if this makes sense - a quite unique concept. Their main songs are all completely in English. They also venture into 90s/y2k pop and club sounds, and their rapline and vocalists also have separate series showcasing them specifically, XG Tape and XG Vox respectively. Officially there are 4 rappers (Jurin, Cocona, Maya, Harvey) and 3 vocalists (Chisa, Juria, Hinata), but the rappers all can sing as well. XG is quite versatile and covers a large spectrum of genres, but it is all rooted in 90s/y2k style. No two songs sound alike. Recommended watching: Shooting Star (sort of their signature song, also the first one on The First Take in addition to the MV) Left Right (another R&B-ish song that got them on the Rolling Stones magazine's Best 100 Songs of 2023 list) XG Tape #2 as introduction to the rappers (that might have been the one that you have seen already some time back, because they rap in English, Korean and Japanese here).
