XG is a 7 member Japanese global girl group aged currently 18-22 formed by XGALX. They do Hip Hop/R&B and Pop. XG is completely fluent in Korean and Japanese but they choose to sing/rap in English because they are a Global Girl Group. They want to reach as many people as possible. This is why they sing in English even though they could sing in Korean or Japanese. Fandom is called ALPHAZ because the leader of a pack of wolves is called the Alpha. Thanks for reacting to XG! Like everyone else mentioned, they are a 7 member, all-Japanese group but they are not jpop or kpop. They prefer to go by the genre x-pop (meaning global) so all of their songs are in English. This is their first all rap track and they literally do it all. They’re also incredible dancers.

The one with the shaved head is Cocona. She is the youngest member at 18 years old. They are extremely talented and are finally getting the exposure they should have been getting 2 years ago when they first debuted. I suggest checking out more of their discography.

This is their first all rap song. Usually their is a lot more singing and dancing. If you like rap the rap line has a RU-vid only Tape series that people seem to like, especially the Galz Xypher, but Chill Bill is my favorite. To see a totally different side of them you can check out Left Right that is basically a 90's/2000's R&B girl group song. Cocona is the girl with the shaved head. "C to the OC, O that's me" is a callback to her part in the Galz Xypher that went mega viral a year ago.

XGALX is the name of their company. Cocona's parents said at XG's concert that she wanted to shave her hair back in her school years.
