The picture quality Xiaomi is better than Mogo pro but Mogo pro is easy to carry everywhere you want because there is battery built in and can adjust keystone +-40 degree vertical and horizontal. Xiaomi can only adjust vertical. Finally depend on your decision to choose it. Thanks for your review.

Xgimi MoGo Pro+ has AUTOMATIC horizontal keystone, Xiaomi has no horizontal keystone at all but IMAGE QUALITY is WAY, WAY, WAY better (had both tested). So I have to stick with the MoGo
Xiaomi is the clear winner here. The video is better and brighter. The sound on the Xgimi is awful. I have the Xiaomi Youth smart compact projector and think it's very nice for the price. I have the Chinese version-$150 USD cheaper-but just plug in a Xiaomi TV Stick ($30) and I can watch anything I want.
I've tried both, I return the xgimi. The image quality is not there in real life (you can see pixels and rainbows) and for the price the Xiaomi is 100 times better. Trust me

Xiaomi is the best, for amazing result you can use a 4k Chromecast and you will see the limit of the its capacity. Xiaomi the winners use real Lumineers.
Dear Sir, i was looking for the Xiaomi unit to install in my sleeping spot for series streaming. As i don't have a lot of headspace 1,35m approx i wanted to pose it on the floor and incline it a slightly for good projection. My possible wall to projector distance is 3 meters. Can you please tell me if this enough distance for an optimal image or might it appear too small?
Found the information myself at: www.mi.com/de/mi-smart-compact-projector/specs/ The Xioami HASN'T horizontal Keystone Correction. Might be important for one or another. It means, you always have to place the beamer directly in front of the wall. Never at the side, wich is much more comfortable in many "not-professional-cinema-rooms".

@@wicky1982 that's good news. they probably fixed this focus problem. how to connect the projector to my hifi amplifier ? I see only 1hdmi plug which cannot be used on my hifi amplifier. have you tried bluetooth connection - any sound lagging ? Thanks !
@@eyhtwozed2606 obv is because the projector is heating up and that affects the lens. You have to do the calibration after 15 min you have power it on.
I have the Mogo Pro and am not really impressed with the image. I'm surprised how bad the screen door is for a 1080p device. I haven't yet tried plugging in a PC but it seems there are jagged edges on lines that can't really be fixed at any resolution (HDMI input seems worse than the Android built in image-wise). This is with sharpness down to zero. The software update (latest) is improved on the original but still not good. 4K youtube look quite low res still.....very strange if it really is showing all 1080p pixels. There is no rainbow effect which is good (compared to something like the wowoto h8) but the image seems a lot better on the 720p wowoto and no screen door is visible.
Glad to hear you liked it! In the video we have the global version (model:M055MGN) which unfortunately does not have 3D options with the current firmware. I believe in Asia there is another version: "MIJIA Projector Lite (Youth Edition)" that does have 3D support.

This thing is not bad (xiaomi Mi smart), it just dont accepts my US sticks, it never shows any content on my USB Sticks, i see nothing when i stick it in. Only the option to format or eject but with format option it will delete the files and my windows PC dont recognize it anymore, really bad from xiaomi. The rest is not bad. Nother negative thing is there is no shortcut for autofocus, thats a shame
Kinda odd because why are you placing a light in the middle of the viewing comparison since it will easily affect the overall performance since they are basically a projector. On the earlier part you didnt even cover the door on the left and the window on the right. It must always be in a dimlit envuronment. Aside from the its a good comparison.
Although xiaomi is brighter, has better sound and lower fan noise, that shadow noise seems worse! Is there any other contrast option? Can it have the dense black cleaner in any other mode?
Now switch the placement of the devices there more light on one then the other. Your hand shows that when conducting the noise test. Cant really tell which ones the best unless that's done.

Ze is kunstenares en zou deze goed kunnen gebruiken om digitaal werk vanaf een iPad op een doek te projecteren om deze zo over te trekken. Is deze hier geschikt voor wat betreft details, aansluiting op een iPad Pro en gebruik in een atelier met gedempt daglicht? (Ramen met lichte gordijnen ervoor met genoeg licht om te kunnen tekenen).
