Thanks for watching guys! This video shows a new light released in the summer of 2022. Its called XHP-360. This is due to its LED diode, containing 36 cores. If you have checked other foreign websites you can see XHP-90,XHP-99, XHP-100, XHP-160. This mode; is called XHP-360.
The LED does not have a clear dome around it. Instead, the LED is flat, like a tiled floor.
Of course a dome-less led comes with its drawbacks, but there is an advantage. Dome-less LED light can travel further than normal. But it can sacrifice a little bit of power.
Either way I believe its worth a try. Let me know what you think!

i've got xhp90.2 and xhp160. surprisingly the xhp 90.2 is brighter than xhp160. I thought twice the number means twice the bright but its not 😪

How are these compared to a flashlight with a SBT-90.2? Of course, the SBT-90.2 one would be more expensive, but is the cost worth it?

Hey Barron, thank you so much for the information! I have been looking at this SBT-90.2. I’m thoroughly impressed with its brightness, especially for the size of the LED! To be completely truthful, the XHP360 is bright, but big. And the LED is huge as well. The SBT 90.2 looks more promising though, considering it can put out more light for a smaller LED. I’d say do some more research. But I’d take the SBT-90.2 long term.

@Anthony Robinson These for a handheld flashlight looks good but I was more interested in having it being on a headlamp. There's also XHP-360 LEDs for headlamps, but there wasn't much videos about it but more so for the handheld flashlight variants. I actually have the Amutorch DM80 flashlight. Has eight SFT-40 LEDs. It's a bit pricey compared to these XHP360s, but it's guaranteed brighter. There's many "sodacan" lights out there but majority of them focuses on flood. The DM80, however focuses on throw which allows longer distance lighting at very high lumens.

OK I know it’s gonna be a stupid question but I’m a woman and just got the XHP 360. You take the plastic out of the battery correct and put it in the flashlight?

When you put the battery in does it go into that plastic tube or do you put it in the flashlight without it?

Hey, so glad you reached out! Yes take out the plastic and put the batteries in. This flashlight can run off 26650 or 18650 batteries. The plastic tubes are adapters to allow the smaller batteries not to rattle in the flashlight when in operation. Can I ask what type of batteries do you have?

They're garbage, they're not real Cree LEDs. If you want a pretty powerful inexpensive flashlight, get a Convoy M21b XHP70.2, it will be a monster with an actual Cree emitter. Don't buy this garbage, you'll only waste your money.

Hey, good question. There are 3 models that can shut be off without switching through the modes. These include the following: XHP99, XHP160, XHP360. To shut them off, simply click and hold power button. XHP160 has a secret function though!

@@bzdpb979 No problem. The secret function of XHP160 is the the fact that it can be shut off with simply one click, after 10 seconds. I can’t exaggerate how beneficial this is in my scenarios. That’s why it’s has been my favorite light for over 3 years. The other models that have direct shut off will have to depend on the manufacturer you chose to buy from. I do thorough research on my lights, before I buy them, I suggest doing the same, since there are a lot of scammers in this world.

Hello, thanks for reaching out! XHP160 is rated IPX5 which means splashes should not affect the performance on the light, while it is not zoomed. Thought not entirely waterproof, I would take it on light rainy days, holding my hand over the zoom head to prevent water from entering the electronics.

@@Arob1999 Thank you very much for the quick and friendly feedback. ♥️ I looked at it and realized that it (black head) only has one button. I am looking for a flashlight that can be turned on and off with a button. Always having to switch through all the functions is a pain. 🤯 Is there maybe a 160 model (50w) with two buttons? Our current flashlight is already a few years old. We bought it from Aldi many years ago. A long rod lamp with 20 W. Also very bright. With 3x C cells. But sometimes it could be a bit brighter and now the search has begun. But it has to go on and off with a button just like our current one 😊 edit i found this one here: _EywbJc9

@@koelling Hey, yes most modern flashlights including this XHP160 have turn on and off with a single click. You don’t have to cycle through all modes. For most flashlights it’s click and hold to turn off immediately. Click once to turn back on. For the XHP160, it has two features! Click power once. Than wait 10 seconds and click another time, and light shuts off. Also has click and hold.

Para ser honesto, deberías optar por el XHP160. El XHP360 puede ser más brillante que el XHP160, pero necesita tener el mismo vataje. El XHP160 que compré es realmente fuerte!

Hello again. So all flashlights will get hot, especially high powered ones. It’s important to note that when you are using the lights, only turn on high mode when you need it. Owning a flashlight is a responsibility, and like cars they need to be operated correctly and in the right environments. The battery will last longer with good quality batteries.

To answer your question, yes the XHP360 can be worth it, if you purchase the right type. This one I have here is only running 35W at over 7v respectively. If I can find an XHP360 with more power and can easily outshine the XHP160, than I can send a link here for you. Thank you!

I’m not entirely interested in purchasing lights for over $60… It’s way too overpriced considering how easily we have access to LED technology in our modern world. We could all use a flashlight or two in our house in case of an emergency storm.

@@koelling What you can do is screenshot the picture of the light using the link I provided. Then you can use the AliExpress app to search using the screenshot. This helps vastly as it will give the closest light to the picture but from a different brand.

@@NighTpG Hi! To answer your question, I believe the driver they had wired in the motherboard is programmed to tune the power down as the flashlight is running for extended periods. For example, running it on high mode for a long time will cause the driver to regulate the temperature of the light, either cutting down the power or shutting off the LED in general. I see a lot of the newer lights utilizing this type of technology as well. What I suggest is running the light on low mode almost all the time. Only use the high mode when you need it. If you really need high mode, you can run it when it’s under 40 degrees Fahrenheit.

@@Vmaxfodder You could build a better cooling system! It would have to be very compact though. I’m assuming the light itself acts as a cooling block since it’s made or entirely aluminum. I have an electric scooter as well, I try to use it exactly how I use my flashlights.

Greetings. Thank you for reaching out. To answer your question, nearly every light I reviewed on this channel still works today! All expect one. The HONRIYA, I bought in 2018. It’s now 2023 and the light has been though a lot. So yes I will say that no matter where it came from, it’s able to last for a long time.

Cree xhp's are much more efficient ie about twice the battery life when run at the same light output. This is not often mentioned. This led is Chinese tech attempting to gain Cree's market share, it is unethical to name it as though it is part of the Cree product line ie the xhp family of emitters (the xhp90s, xhp160s and xhp360s are all Chinese products).

Yes most of the world already knows that, we don’t need to keep hearing it. Too many comments of people saying the same things. And these people are not reading my comments as well as the others. It’s made in China, but so are the some of the CREE lights. The CREE LEDs get extremely hot quickly, and most people don’t need something that bright. Buying a genuine Samsung or LG 18650, and putting it in the light, will make the light run longer. Whether CREE or not. The CREE LEDs can be more efficient but no one wants to spend the hundreds of dollars it cost to get them. This is not a CREE Channel, but showing the usage of 3rd party lights.

Hi, thanks for reaching out! The XHP360 is a completely different LED than XHP70. The LED's are soldered adjacent to each other making 36 cores. I'm hoping someday I can get my hands on the new XHP70.3 you were speaking of. It is one of the latest, high intensity, emitters with great potential and longevity.

Hello sir, I appreciate your comment! These are legit LEDs and indeed have great potential and longevity. Cree is a different company, they have their own resources and technologies. I don’t believe 36 cores is necessary, however, if we are looking for higher efficiency, than this may be an option. Simply to put, the LED is not running as hot because of how large it is.

@@TheBladeX10 Hello once more, yes CREE and Luminous are known here. My Chinese XHP 160 is 3 years old, still works great! The other Chinese XHP90 is over 5 years old, also works great, and it’s been through some heavy testing! I can give video proof.

@@TheBladeX10 Hey, so I apologize to keep you waiting so long. I’ve always wanted to review the XHP120. I don’t think it is as bright as XHP160, but the idea of 12 cores is very unique, which I find appealing.
