Thanks for sharing your experience, I would like to share a friendly suggestion, please avoid filming the crew and staff, Chinese air carriers are very strict with their crew and they do check reviews and reports about their airlines and you might unintentionally put that flight attendant in trouble by their management. There was even a review where a person tweeted a casual picture of his meal tray mid flight on China Eastern Airlines and the pilot was notified of said tweet and the crew tried to clarify with that passenger. The passenger who tweeted that had no issue with his tray but China Eastern has a strict policy for the layout of the tray. Also, they already have a tough job, I do not think they will appreciate being filmed while they do their work.

What kind of seafood was served? and how did you guys like the food?

Did you exchange for currency for the taxi fare at the airport? Were you able to select your seats or did they assign it for you when you checked in? Travel with 3 other people and I have a 23 hour layover in Xiamen next month.
