We all want season 2 with the same cast and team. I wonder what we, international fans can do to help?
This adaptation really touched my heart and soul. What I felt when I read the books, I felt it while watching Ultimate Note - all the tragedy that surrounds their lives, the bond between the Iron Triangle.
One of my most favorite scenes is when Wi Xie told Pangzi he'll bring him out alive and cried- Shunxi's acting is brilliant, all his emotional scenes take my breath away.
When I started editing this clip I thought of making a pingxie video, but ended up including Pangzi. He is the most loyal friend, he is willing to sacrifice his life for Wu Xie and Xiao Ge. The three of them are home to each other, one family.
Also I would like to mention how incredible all the other actors played their roles too- Panzi, uncle Erbai, Ah Ning, Wen Jin, grandma Huo, Xiu Xiu, and of course HeiHua.
Panzi made me cry several times - when he told Wu Xie: "I'll keep you safe as long as I'm with you." and when he told Pangzi about how he plans to live his old days with Wu Sanxing. Watching these scenes was heartbreaking. Now let's talk about Uncle Erbai - isn't he the most badass character in the show! He speaks so calm yet he has this life-threatening aura around him. I probably watched more than ten times his scene with Cox Hendry. That was one memorable scene.
He said " You don't have the right to request a cooperation. If you create trouble for me, I'll sink your entire team into the river. I'll grant you guys immortality." and then " Who gave you the right to speak? If you speak another word, I'll sew your lips together" and how he spilled the tea. This whole scene is a masterpiece!
Everytime HeiHua appear on screen my heart flutters, I enjoy their interactions immensely.
I never thought I'd fall in love with secondary characters, but I love them all.
On another note, sorry for the bad sound, my computer is in a really bad condition. When I edit there are constant glitches, the scenes froze and don't move, I can barely see what I'm actually editing. The audio was not so high on the voice-overs.... after posting it I realized the sound is so bad... it's kinda uncomfortable to watch.
