I could get into this kind of content. Old computer games of a long forgotten era, kinda feels like a genre of its own that cant seem to be replicated today
Wow, this video was such a blast from the past. I remember playing this game a lot but I was really bad at it. I definitely didn't have the deluxe edition because I never got the track editor. I would have loved having that.
I was bad at it too. Never had the patience for the more elaborate layouts, or the ones that were tight on space. You at least had three construction parks in the original release, but that was it. The buildings, depots, engines and rolling stock were preset. Better than nothing, but not as extensive as the Layout Tinkerer.
3:07 actually you’d be right and wrong. Me and a few fellas of mine agree that the engine they chose there is a Western Maryland H9 2-8-0 Consolidation with some parts from the 736 of course.
Whoops. I'm not super well-versed in locomotive models, and I found the models listed in a walkthrough for the game. I took its word for it like the naive numbskull I am. I wish I had you and those fellas to consult for fact checking that bit lol.
@@XiaoXiaoMan1123you’re still good man. I’m very well studied in the line work of ol’ Lionel stuff and grew up on this. Say, how’d you make the permanent semaphores? I can only simply do the flags far as I can remember
Right? There's so much detail I glossed over in the name of pacing and keeping the video a reasonable length. I could only showcase so much after sifting through six or seven hours of footage. Expect a stream series of this game soon enough.
