Hindi kami Bisaya . Ilonggo kami. Don't you forget that when the Tagalogs were winning against Mother Spain Iloilo was the only province that attempted to send its forces to aid the Spanish forces and Iloilo was also the last capital of the Spanish Empire in the Far East. Til the end Iloilo was loyal. We proudly display in the Ilonggo coat of arms La Muy Leal y Noble Ciudad de Iloilo ( the Very Loyal and Noble City of Iloilo) given no less by the Queen Regent of Spain. Delgado et al only came out when the cause of Mother Spain was a lost cause. Iloilo's populace enjoyed a prosperity seldom equalled in those days under Madre España.

Andi Villarruz Visayas means Kabisayaan or lugar ng mga Bisaya. Baka iniisip mo, Cebuano lang ang mga Bisaya. Mali yan, brader. Lahat ng Cebuano ay Bisaya, pero hindi lahat ng Bisaya ay Cebuano. Diverse ang Kabisayaan. May Ilonggo (Hiligaynon, Capiznon), Cebuano, Waray, Karay-a, Ati, Aklanon, Boholano etc. Wag mong ikahiya ang pagiging Bisaya. Mga insecured at bastos lang ang mga nagdidiscriminate sa mga Bisaya. Embrace your Visayan identity and be proud of it. God bless
