Hooo, howdy. What a huge episode to unpack here! Just hearing Xiao’s pain and sorrow really did it in for me. Honestly the way how Xiao emphasized how his room is forbidden made it sound like he actually had literal skeletons in his closet. But now it’s a metaphorical form of “skeletons”. Xiao needs a break 😭

I didn't intend for people to hype his room up like this, so I'm glad that my plan of Xiao just valuing his privacy and avoiding Listener worked out, even without a hidden corpse under the bed or something x) And he will get a break... after a bit more emotional and physical damage :')

It's leaning towards reverse comfort ^^ and there is one more episode to wrap the story up, and afterwards a bonus episode that will work as a sleepaid. More vampire Xiao is coming :3

Aaaah, I'm glad you liked it! :3 And I agree with the Osial and Beisht thing. I headcanoned for a long time that Xiaos first master was Osial, that's why he's kind of my go to evil person in my AU fanfictions actually ^^°
