Nice long time review. Can be called real review. Not repeating same script as majority of "revoowers". Personal experience pros and cons - perfection. Great job and great vid! One question.the notifications -, you get them all or some take their time? This used to for most Chinese phones... Considering to get this as I got tired of bricks. need to think about my pockets to.
Yesterday i try Global ROM through rename trick on Chinese ROM Xiaomi 14 it failed and i got stuck in the boot screen but good i recover it from recovery by wipe all my data... I try to go to Global because the Chinese have Whatsapp and Google app notifications and making default problem some time not seeing any notification from Whatsapp messages and call also the reason for rename trick was its not possible to unlock bootloader on Chinese ROM
I had many bugs in the Xiaomi Redmi note 13 pro plus with hyperos... GPS was off, the compass was quickly decalibrating after ~150 meters of walking, push notifications were coming with hours of delay, in some cases, and calls were dropping and sometimes I could not be reached by others by phone, although I had full signal! But it was a great device otherwise...
@@lltechview yes. I live in Europe as well... Official, original phone. The thing is.... Xioami does great, amazing phones. I loved the best screen I saw in my life on this Redmi, best ergonomics, best default case! Screen protector with oleophobic coating etc.... Very good... But the software...
Danke für dein Review! Ich kann dir in vielen Punkten zustimmen, nur mit der Software (Global ROM) und mit der Akkulaufzeit bin ich nicht 100% zufrieden. Aber der Punkt mit der mitgelieferten Hülle ist zu 100% wahr. Ich hab die letzten zwei Monate immer wieder ein paar andere Hüllen probiert aber an die originale schwarze Hülle kam bisher nix dran. Leider hab ich die aber auch noch nicht zum nachkaufen gefunden.
@@lltechview ja das hab ich im Video mitbekommen, deshalb hab ich das dazu erwähnt 😀 aber man muss zumindest lohnend erwähnen, dass mit dem letzten Update zumindest die neuem Widgets gekommen sind
It gets a bit warm on games and video editing. But nothing concerning. Performance stays good. Only thing you notice it having issues is during benchmarks where it heats up significantly.
Very very confused with the upcoming lineup here. We are getting the poco f6/turbo 3, the civi 4 pro soon and then there's the xiaomi 14. I'm just worried about thermals and battery life on the 14. Otherwise I'm ready to get it, especially for usb 3.2 What would you recommend?
Thanks a lot for all your reviews! I really like them! Currently struggling. Shall I keep my Xiaomi 14 or the new Xperia 1 VI as I am a fan of Sony 🙄Hard to find the right mobile today. A shame that you are not testing the Mark VI.
Wait a second. 1 VI is here now and members already have the first sample 4k 60fps video to watch. There will be a Sony Xperia 1 VI camera comparison and ranking. First impressions video maybe as well. But in general stay with your Xiaomi 14. No need to switch to the 1 VI.
@@lltechview Excellent 💪Thank you! I already have both of them laying in front of me 🙈Have to decide which of them will be sold. For me the most important thing is the camera. Think the problem is a more psycologic one. Its my first Xiaomi as I am a bit concerned about China and handling of data. And I love Sony. But seems the VI is not really an improvement 😞
@@lltechview Where? In previous reviews? I don't think that it's a good idea to even deal with this issue on a $1k smartphones. Return and money back should be the only option, sorry.
Something is telling me that moisure is coming through that microphone hole at the bottom right side of the camera bump. Looks like sad, apparent and avoidable mistake...

Have their updates actually updated the camera much or have the updates been more related to other things? My experience with previous Xiaomi phones is that after the first few months most of the updates have just been security patches. I think the main camera weakness compared to their Chinese competitors is the telephoto. Only has 2.6x zoom with no periscope and the sensor is weaker than all its competitors at the same price range who use the OV64b. If they give better zoom on the Xiaomi 15 it would be almost perfect. The main camera seems strong
@@lltechview Several reviewers in my country said that the Xiaomi 14 gets hot very easily. Including when using the camera. How do you deal with camera fogging? Personally, I'm actually interested in this smartphone, but on the other hand, I'm also confused because of issues like that.
@@lltechviewNo properly working Google services is a problem of any over $1k phone. I only buy Global versions for that reason. So no luck with X7 Ultra
i heard that xiaomi 14 optical zoom actually 60mm, could you test by try manually zoom in auto mode is it actually change lens at ~2.6x (disable auto switch lens)
@@lltechview i feel like screwed literally cause in india here civi is significantly low in price in comparison to the 14 and the civi has the master cinema mode for normal video where the camera changes lens according to focused subject and also provides various lut.
Have any of you experienced problem recording 24fps video when in Pro mode? My X14 can record 24fps when in Movie mode or Video mode, but only records 30fps or 60fps in Pro mode, even if you set it to 24fps in 4k or 8k
its a copy of the samsung but since the S10 samsung canera algorithm is so bad the S24 is only usful as a small phone but a seconds needed to take pics
6.3 and has 1200p better resolution then the s24 and superior cameras plus base 256gb and uk only comes in at 12gb ram and 512gb storage for £780 litterly the price of a 256gb s24 the onlything samsung has is 7 years os over xiaomi 4 years os that's about it
HyperOS/Miui is very annoying to use (even compared to other Android UIs), is quite buggy whereas OneUI which is laggy and has jitters from time to time (My S23) but it's very stable with little to no bugs. IMO, Software is just as important if not more than Hardware where S24 shines. About the UI performance issues, OneUI 7 would fix most of them according to leaks whereas we all know about Xiaomi's update cycle!
@Yash_008_ xiaomi has improved over 3 years while Samsung has been downgrading cameras and screen for 4 years s21 to s24 no qhd display telephoto 10 mp only upside is 7 years os base xiaomi 14 has a 1200p display and 4600 mah superior back cameras and has 4 years os imagine if it gets 7 years it would make Samsung useless
@@sulaman4280 Agreed, the hardware is pretty bad on Samsung and they're clearly lagging behind the competition but the UI is still better and it was the main reason i bought an S23. I Previously had Mi 11 Ultra ( and also used Xiaomi 13 Pro for a while) which died after a software update and before it's motherboard failure, it was a PAIN to use even with all that great hardware. Xiaomi really needs to fix that damn UI.
@@lltechview isn't the Xiaomi 14 also that? I mean, there is the 14, the 14 Pro, and the 14 Ultra, so in "theory" unless Xiaomi decide to make a 14lite, then the 14 must be the "vanilla" model?
The NORMAL Pura 70 would be much more interesting. Only a tiny fraction of people will buy the Ultra or Pro for 1500/1200 bucs. The "mainstream" model, and hence the one that most people will buy, is the Pura 70 non Pro/Ultra. i dont quite understand the fixation of people on the "hyper-haXx0r-extreme-Edition" models that cost as much as 2 months of apartment rent.
