Real usage its worst than 8gen2. :) 8gen3 its 8gen2 oc, with 3nm+ about 20% better but -40% efficient. Thats why 8gen2 the best. Check power consumption. 😊
@@furieux6742they use newer core designs tho and they added a core to cluster1 while taking one away from the efficiency cores the sd 8 gen 3 performs better than the sd 8 gen 2 but at peak the sd 8 gen 2 can't even reach the power consumption is way higher (similar story with a17)
I'm a Snapdragon 870 user yet, 8 Gen 3 seems to be a good chip, but now I'll wait for Oryon-based chips to upgrade. I really hope Qualcomm bring Oryon cores to a possible 7+ Gen 4, that's the one I would upgrade for.
My expectations were low for 8 Gen 3, only expecting an incremental improvement, a squeezing toothpaste, as I was excited for Oryon-powered 8 Gen 4. But goddamn, Qualcomm. god fkn damn.
Qualcomm is using all they have about the arm public core architecture on the 8 gen 3 as it would be no use when their 8 gen 4 with their own architecture comes out
Hello Engineers you have created great content so far but due to the language barrier a lot of people can not access the content of your videos your channel has a huge untapped potential.
Yunfei(Geekerwan's English channel host)was in the US when making this video so the English version can't be released at the first time just wait a few days,he's about to return to China
@@user-vl1yd1hs3k that is true and I am using that. I don't understand Chinese/mandrin. But if the content was in English it would be easier to understand especially the technical stuff.
Imagine this SOC bad boy in a gaming phone like red magic (9) with the great cooling solution. Great work Qualcomm. As an iPhone 15 Pro Max (gaming) user I'm looking forward to the next Apple SOC with great cooling :)
