14T pro are for those who wants: - 60-70% more SoC cpu gpu performance, faster photo processing, long term user 3-5 years will benefit the most from this - faster 120W charging, and wireless charging - slightly bigger main cam sensor for better low light, faster shutter speed, less blurry photo - 2.6x telephoto for better face proportion in potrait pic - better build quality, metal frame, curve back

I'd pay the extra for the camera just for future proofing, it is using the same sensor as Xiaomi 14 and 14 pro and which may get the flagship image processing updates.

This is a very good review, Dariusz! There is not a big difference between these two regarding the photo results, though the 14T Pro is slightly better because the sensor is bigger and lets in more light. But I decided to order 14T earlier. I got a promotion and I will receive a Xiaomi S20 vacuum too for only 600euros.

Great video Dariusz appreciate your effort. Decent phones for the price and they both offer viable alternatives to the likes of the usual players in the market. HOWEVER I preface this as being subjective HyperOS is like marmite either you love it or hate it and coming off using the Xiaomi 14 for around 6 months I hated it. There's too many restrictions like not being able to capture a scrolling screenshot on Chrome. I couldn't wait to get rid of the phone. Hence I will be staying clear of any phone with HyperOS

Just purchased the 14 T 512GB in Vietnam for about $486 USD . Very happy so far couldn’t see a big difference between the T and T pro to pay the extra price . I really like the black rubber case that comes with the phone looks great on the phone and feels so nice to hold in the hand . The phone doesn’t come with the charger but the store threw it in for free . It looks like and compares with a IPhone pro max for one third the price . Highly recommend

I agree with you, the advantages of the "pro" version seem to be limited to the possibility of recording in 8k, the Master cinema in 4k (against the 1080p limit on the other) and a more user-friendly use of the 2.6x telephoto lens.

in indonesia, the difference is less than $130, and the pro is bundled with 50 watt wireless charger (it also came with 120watt charger instead of 67 watt like in non pro)

I guess the question behind comparing between 14T and 14T Pro would be : Is the quality of the camera on Pro worth the price increase (along with the other better specs)? There is obviously a slight improvement in quality between the 2, so those who only buy for the camera improvement might not find it worth enough to buy the Pro. But if one is aiming for overall, then it depends on budget because the rest of the upgrades is pretty nice too, like the better SoC, 120W instead of 67W charging and added 50W wireless charging, etc. I say budget because above 14T pro is the Xiaomi 14 (or rather 15 which is coming out soon). It's very close.... thought the Pro had slightly better selfie and zoom. Also mic sounded better. It's a cheaper way of exploring Xiaomi cameras and colour profiles. Vivo is good but sometimes misses the mark with Zeiss

Pro has a lot more processing power , slightly bigger sensors and the 2.6 zoom made the difference in the night shots. The police vehicle lights spoiled the shot a bit.

Decided to do a camera upgrade for upcoming trip to Japan but do not like the looks of 14 ultra and rattling noise of stabs and bigger frame. I love telescopic camera on 9t - was main reason for the purchase. Too bad they ditched the idea and came back to underscreen selficams.

A brand new Xiaomi 14T PRO plus a xiaomi branded 120w charging brick together cost more than a used S23 ultra(with charger ofcourse) just buy the samsung im not a fanboy or something like that but the s23 ultra cam performs better and overall a much better phone

Honestly, it seems to me that 14t is better, really better and looks nicer, or you mixed up the names of the photos and videos, it should be the other way around The difference is no more than 10%, I would even say 5%.
