I decided to put my Xiaomi Air Purifier to the test and set a bunch of smoke bombs off in my studio! Needless to say the Xiaomi Air Purifier did WELL!!

The downside is the control limitations in Google home, it's basically turn on or off at the last setting you physically turned on. You can't adjust speeds or anything via Google assistant

Yes, but you can ask it to turn to a mode, for example ‘Switch the air purifier to sleep mode’. I have one at home and it’s pretty convenient

Ive heard you can clean these out with an air can to extend the lifespan but the more u clean them out the less effecient they get, u do usually need to replace the filters eventually

yo, not working, smoked 1 pack of SLIM cigarettes per day near it, after a year with filters changed regularly the ENGINE was brown and the furniture was brown. The filter was some expansive carbon stuff. WTF? Is good for dust and sensor is very good. That's all.

Air filters dont really do that they can help minimize it a little bit but smoking is lowbrain should probably quite maybe vape weed instead

It won't help with ciggy smoke but does help with farts, depending on how smelly your farts are, mine a very smelly so it doesn't work very well

How long does the filter last 🤔 And do you have to use the app for it to work 🤔 apps force you to update your phone and apps need updating too 🙄 plus the updates could be something new you dont want.

@rudra7615 Didn't think I shoulda added a "sarc" tag, but a 20" box fan and four 20"×20" ac filters duct taped together is purty awesome, and budget friendly. Toss filters when dirty instead of cleaning unit is easier too!

My area aqi is 400 but purifier is showing 001 aqi . I even fire a paper in front of it still it’s showing 001 aqi. Filter remaining 48%

Try cleaning the lazer particle sensor which measures AQI level. There are multiple videos available on youtube which will help you locate the sensor and provide guidance on cleaning.

You have to disassemble the entire dehumidifier! Kinda hassle, also mind the pins in cover, they can easily break.
