Wondering about overheating issues? How fast it charges using a standard charger? How good is the camera and how does the Mi 11 fare in daily use cases? Let me explain.
Hi all, to answer everyone who's asking about Google Play Services, I installed the Google Play Store in less than one minute. Step 1: Go into the Xiaomi GetApps (pre-installed App Store) Step 2: Search "Google Play Store" Step 3: Click "Update" Voila! Google Play Store is now installed on your Mi 11. Super simple. Hope that helps!
@@LimReviews any idea when Mi11 pro /Ultra are gonna be launched? I guess heating issue will be surely fixed in them with help Of additional heat sinks
The Mi 11 charger is a 55W and charges from 0 to 100 in 45mins. All phones overheat if you play games for a while. But if you are using youtube. Facebook etc it's perfectly fine. The display is awesome super smooth. Camera is amazing with great features. Overall a great phone. I got this instead of the S21
Hi lim, it's a great video bro really appreciate your honest review. I am an average user with mainly daily usage of emails, Utube, few other social media consumption. I also do lots of video calling on WhatsApp, zoom etc. I don't play games. Will the mi 11 heat up for these applications? Sincerely appreciate your advise since I am planning to buy the mi 11 soon.
i hope you're gonna be one of the top reviewers soon. High quality content and straight to the point. Wanted to get this phone but the mi 11 isn't available in usa haiyaaaaaa
Great video!!! I love the way you presented it and one thing I love about your video, you don’t have a typical Malaysian slang, just subscribed to your channel.
Honestly I watch your reviews about mi 11 phone in such a deep details definitly will buy this phone after couple of month ..thanxx buddy for update once again
Hi Lim , just came across your channel and what a fantastic surprise.Your views on this phone is to the point and very clear. Have joined your channel and be recommending to other RU-vidrs👍👍👍
for global version, they do include charger. the camera sensor is surprisingly good. the phone also pack with amazing extra features. My fav so far is the camera "vlog" features
I really like your reviews, reminds me of Dave2D channel. Honest, brief and concise. Hope you keep this type of review even if you reach 1m subs. Thanks.
Can't decide between this or the S21/+ (Exynos 2100). I've used a number of different android phones but fell in love with Samsung since using the s9+ and note 10+. I've gotten so used to the ui and the ecosystem, but I'm actually finding it hard to choose between being safe with Samsung or trying out Xiaomi for the next few years, it's interesting and appealing but I've heard how bad their updates are and security might be an issue, also xiaomi being on the Blacklist may turn bad with regards to Google soon.
Im confused about getting between s21 and mi11. I really like samsung one ui and the 6.2 smaller screen, but some reviewer said that the exynos 2100 is still far from the 888. While the mi11 give you a qhd display, amazing speaker, and faster charger. What do you think Lim? Need a little bit help
I bought this phone specifically to play Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd. It is waaaaaaay better than my Exynos 2100 Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. It does get hot, but so did the Samsung phone. I did find a way to "throttle" the performance so that the phone doesn't heat up as much. With game booster there's an option that says "Performance Optimization" that will throttle down the performance slightly and the phone won't overheat. At least for me that worked like a charm and I can now play for more than 2 hours without issues :D I love this phone and I'm glad I ditched the Exynos Galaxy S21 Ultra for this SD888 phone :D Great review I did like it a lot! I hope you get more views and subs! :D
Thank you! I couldn't decide if I'm gonna buy mi 11, but I will now. I'll avoid the mi 12 (for now) because reviewers say SD8G1 throttles a lot. But if you do have other phones that I should buy instead, let me know kind sir and have a nice day.
I like that when you review a phone you include games especially Genshin Impact. When I buy a new phone. This is my number 1 concern so I really appreciate you including the effect of the phone when using the GI app.
Thanks for your thoughts about mi 11. So far it's my favourite smartphone to use because it's amazing display. You are right about the camera. I'm going to test is and compare with mi note 10t pro and see which one is better.
Looking forward to your feedback on the comparison. I let go my Mi 10T Pro just before I bought the Mi11 so I can't really compare, but looking at my previous shots from the Mi 10T Pro they both look quite similar.
In my opinion as a daily user of social media, as long as the apps doesn't face app reloading, able to quick start where we left it, that's consider high performance for a normal user like me.
Bro, can you tell us how is the video watching experience on Mi 11 phone as it has curved display. Do you find any issue on curved display over flat display? Plz reply. Thanks for the video
Nice job Lim. I always enjoy your reviews. One question: Which is a good premium/flagship smart phone apart from Samsung and iphone? I want your candid opinion from your experience using all these phones.
Excellent review. I actually just ordered a Mi 11. Im sure there is an app to throttle the CPU/GPU if overheating is an issue. More than happy with the speed.
Due to straight to the point and honest review, u get a sub from me. If i can ask. For a budget rm3000, can u suggest best phone for performance? I use for work. I look for between iphone, xiaomi or oneplus? Please help. Thanks
Hi, Great review! I have 1 question regarding the heat. It could be our concern for taking long video? I'm afraid it's too hot and automatically turn off the camera itself. Thanks!
Hey, so far I have not experienced that issue. I even did a vlog on the Mi11 - you can find it on my channel. But if your "long video" refers to few hours of video, then I do not know. Cheers!
So this or another Mi phone ? I'm looking to edit photo and video on and use with a FTP app , I was mainly interested in this with the 8k camera on it too and also edit with the go pro app to stitch content thanks
Is proximity sensor still a problem? When you make a call doesn't recognize that you put the phone near head ad you can accidently press something.... It is problem for years for Xiaomi hmmm
Sir help me choose between MI 11 & MI 11 Pro which is better if I install Custom Rom will it work like an International version & also WATS really the spark with the MI 11 Pro I feel like buying it only turn off is Chinese lanagauge & no Google apps 😢
i dont think the 108 mp is outdated. i might be the same as previous gen, but its a capable sensor only restricted by the software image processing. now mi 11 focused on fine tune the camera. give that sensor to iphone, and see the difference
I'm planning to buy a phone, my choices are mi 11 and oneplus 8 pro, could you help decide which one should i get? And why? I'm a oneplus user but I'm tempted with the specs of the xiaomi mi 11.
Does the setting on refresh rate on the Mi 11 gives you the option to stay at 120? Since for what I remember it has like "adoptive" refresh rate saying that it'll be depending on the app or things like watching videos, scrolling, playing games. And for Samsung I can't remember them having like the "adoptive" thing from Xiaomi, so maybe that's explains why the Samsung is a bit smoother since when you put it on 120 then it stays at 120 all the time. 🤔 Not really sure if that's make sense haha. I hope it did.
I just ordered the global version of this phone...thank you for an honest review. The Snap Dragon 888 is generally a hot SOC and unless the phone has active cooling, it will get hot when stressed. I don't play games or do mobile benchmarking so I'm not worried about that. XIaomi stopped giving chargers because the new phones support PD GAN charging...you can pick up a 65 watt charger for very cheap.
I have been using Samsung for the past 15 years, never see myself using another device. Seeing the Mi 11 I like it right away. Getting mine on Tuesday. Can't wait.
My phone is recently started to heat more than usually and suddenly now I experience HUGE battery drain. I usually got 9-10 hours SoT now I got max 3 SoT. I have not updated my phone and not installed new apps. What caused this, the heat? What can I do?
