I'm so glad I found this channel. You guys definitely put a lot of work into your videos, and this is the best review of a smart phone camera I've ever seen. Keep on!
Just subscribed!! Thank you for this!! This is the kind of review for Mi note 10 that I have been waiting for. The handsome guy in the screen is just a bonus. 😂❤️

Hi Neil, thanks for choosing to sub to us! Glad you enjoyed the video! Honestly, for the most part, the P30 Pro and the Mi Note 10 have very similar camera systems and zoom functionality. They both offer upto 50x zoom, the only difference being that the P30 Pro the periscope zoom so it might be slightly sharper. The main difference is going to be the 108MP vs the 40MP. Also, the Mi Note 10 has an additional Macro Lens and also one for Portraits. The Mi Note 10 also has additional features like Vlog Mode and OIS at 5x zoom which makes it really appealing to us. :) Hope that helps!
sensor is one thing and the software is another. Xiaomi did not manage to avoid blown highlights in many of the shots I've already seen on the Internet. Hopefully they'll improve over time as this is my goto camera... Thanks for the review, anyway and have a nice holiday, still!
Hey Jendzora! From our testing the exposure was on point 90% of the time. However, in the portrait mode the highlights do seem to be a little over exposed. Perhaps this can be fixed with a future update. Thanks for your comment and wish you a nice holiday!
i am using this phone since last 15 days and i think you only gave the genuine review... the camera is real beast... I trid 1.18 GCAM on this.. its lit ... btw subs u..
Thx to RU-vid for recommending me this..quality shots u got man, keep on doing content like this for more phones to come especially the mi10,s20 and realme X50 pro
I'm using this mobile and definitely my favorites are portrait, macro and VLOG modes I use it every day and it's perfect options, highly recommend this mobile :)
please compare it to flagships phones. preferably the iphone 11 pro, but the samsung note 10, pixel 4 or maybe oneplus 7 pro is alright. other reviewers usually compare it with a challenging scene like shooting an object directly against the sun or a super low light scene which realistically people won't even take a photo of. but judging from your photos samples in this video, I think you took a beautiful picture with a great lighting, great angle, great object. so I want to see that comparison.. thanks
Hey there! Glad you enjoed the video. We'll be getting on that and probably be posting the comparisons on our IG. So be sure to follow us for those updates! :)
I must say, it was truly an in-depth camera review but the one question that still keeps coming to my mind, which no one can answer but only you, is can we really not switch between the lenses while recording a video ? N can we use the vlog settings to make videos of any duration ?
Hi Nippun! Thanks for your comment. To answer your question, no you cannot switch lenses while recording. You would need to cut the recording and start over with the different zoom. The vlog mode is limited to 10-15 second only as of now. This may change with future updates. :)
I've been searching about which phone to buy either a pocophone f2 pro or a Xiaomi Mi note 10. But it's really hard to decide because both have a pros and cons. I like taking pictures and I want a phone that can take good photos. Is this better than Poco F2 pro. Thanks for reviewing this mi note 10.
Hey there! Thanks for the sub, glad you enjoyed our video :) Yes, with the new update Filmic Pro supports the log & flat color profiles as well as 24fps.
Hi Charles! We may have missed out on that in this video. We did compare the Mi Note 10 Lite to the Mi Note 10 and the UWA is also tested out in that video. You may be interested in checking that out here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-gjo9RJsJ2eQ.html :)
Hi Helaman, unfortunately, they do not support that as of now. Perhaps they will allow that in future updates? It would be difficult tho, since the vlog mode makes cuts and transitions based on the music it has selected. Hope that answers your question.
@@sherylliu5281 No worries at all Sheryl! Glad you enjoyed the review :) Trust me, I'm sure you can, just takes a bit of practice! If you're keen, we made a video on how you can shoot and edit your phone shots to look AMAZING! You can check it out here - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Jd5a1b2fkSM.html Cheers! 🤗
Hey there! Thanks a lot, yes will give it a try! FilmicPro as well. You should follow us over on Instagram where we'll show more results @productnationco 😄 Cheers!
@@ProductNation Hi. Sorry, but I'm not on Instagram. Were you able to test FilmicPro? Would be really interrested to take most advantage of my Mi Note 10.
@@fab117 Hi there! Yes, we did test out FilmicPro. We had purchased the Cinematographer kit for the app to get the most out of it, however, it doesn't seem to be supported on Xiaomi phones yet. The most you can do with FilmicPro is to use basic controls such as White Balance Setting, Exposure Control, Focus Control with Focus Peaking, etc. You are not able to use the multiple lenses to shoot either. After checking with the FilmicPro developers, this is what they had to say - "Most Xiaomi devices don't implement properly some features of the Camera2 API that we need in order to support the cinematographer kit. Since we don't know in advance, we can't enable it. Regarding the lenses, sadly, Xiaomi is locking them for 3rd party apps." Hope they are able to patch this soon and roll out an update to sort this out! Hope this helps, thanks for your comment!
Hi there! Unfortunately only the 1x and 2x zoom modes are supported in the Night Mode. You could still shoot using the pro mode to get the best quality out of the shot.
Hi there! We tested it out during the launch event and they both seemed to look very similar. However, we will be doing a more in-depth testing to see whether or not there's an actual increase in quality. Cheers!
Just found a link on cyanogenmods (www.cyanogenmods.org/mi-note-10-gcam-7-2/). As I'm not familiar, with this, any risk for my mobile if I follow their tuto "How to Install Google Camera on Mi Note 10?"
Hello! If you're looking for a slightly bigger screen, better camera, and much better battery performance, then the Mi Note 10 is the way to go. This is if you don't mind the slightly worse Snapdragon 730G over the 855 on the Mi 9T. We're currently doing a comparison video on the Mi 9TPro and the Mi 10 Pro. Stay tuned for that too for more details on this! :)
@@ProductNation Whoa! thats a iphone feature but no one talked about it. So it is built in and i can edit this after i have taken the portrait in the gallery, right?
