Hi all, thanks a lot for watching this video. I currently don’t have it anymore as I gave it to my mother 😊👍 Still feel free to ask questions and I’ll try to help!
Just bought it to use as a work monitor and it rocks. For just $250 the value is insane. Only cons are a bit of vignetting (darkness along the edges) and it is super reflective, other than that, really happy with it.
Thanks for the review, that was very informative! We have a place in France, which we've recently bought, a holiday home. Darty has this TV in for 299 Euro in the local branch, so I'm sold on it now. We don't want to spend a fortune on a TV that will have limited use, but this looks perfect for our needs. We're from the UK, and are taking our Starlink... it'll give a London IP address, so hopefully the TV will bring up the UK version of Play Store. All the best.
Thank you. I was buying this for a friend. I wanted to know if there was a android TV build in. I have a good offert here in Switzerland for the 32''. I'll go for it!
Hi Gary, What a great review, thanks a lot, this TV seems very interesting for its price and has just arrived here in north Africa !!! I have 3 questions: - Has it a VA or IPS screen ? It's a VA if the screen flashes when you smoothly tap it with your fingers. - What about night scenes in movies or series ? I hope there is no lack of detail (better known as black crush): I hate it when when it is nearly impossible to see the entire faces of the actors in such dark scenes. - do you always use it with backlight on max (100) or is a lesser value (i.e 80-70) sufficient to get a decent picture ? Thanks in advance for your response. Best regards.
Hi Sami, wow North Africa! 😃 Well here are my answers: 1: VA or IPS: not sure as I think those things are more for computer monitors? 2: I have a video with some good settings where the black crush does not occur. Straight out of the box it may be a bit too dark. 3. This depends on your own preference. This is the settings video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pB12AmKY3cE.html Merry Christmas is advance!
How backlight bleeding looks like in your TV? Mine is having it, at the top of the screen on the left. I don't know if it is profitable to attempt a complaint, it is not very visible, only on fully black scene in dark room.
Yes it is visible in darker scènes. Keep in mind that this is not a premium class tv. So backlight bleeding is visible, the viewing angles are not the best etc But honestly watching movies its not visible
Do you have any problem when wstching netflix ? Mine is so laggy and the remote become very slow response too. Other than that seems ok, but i bought this tv mainly to watch netflix 😂
Good. Is it normal when switching sources (for example from hdmi1 to hdmi 2) that the image of the source we choose takes a while to load?? (in my case, in the MI TV P1 43 inch version, it takes about 35 seconds for the image to appear). Is there any configuration that can be done to speed up this situation? Compliments
@@GaryJahman No worries. I'm in no hurry to buy a new telly. I'm using a few Xiaomi products (phone and TV are not one of them) and I'm very satisfied. On the paper Hisense is quite a deal. And it's made in my country (Slovenia) that's why the price is quite good.
Damn, the overall TV seems nice. I do wonder how muhc of an input lag there is on it or does it have a gaming mode that reduces it. I'm divided between this or Samsung AU8XXX series since they do have the same price here in Poland. I feel like Android TV is just better than current Tizen but I might be wrong on that.
Hello! Thanks for the video about this tv. I just bought this one today. I'm not familiar with smart tv and have one thing really bother me. Hope Gary or anyone can help me. It's the RU-vid app on this tv couldnt play 4K res. The highest option is only 1080p. I did update the YT app to lastest ver and uninstall update to back to the ROM ver but both are not showing 4K res option. Anyone know how to fix this on this model? Thank you so much.
is this oled or lcd tv? sorry watched the video without audio so didn't catch what you said if it was mentioned in the video. but I'm guessing it is most probably high quality lcd seeing as it has very deep blacks and oleds are expensive
Hi. I have this Tv. I want to use Android TV (for example youtube, any internet radio) to play music with the screen turned off. With this tv, is it possible? If it is possible how can I do it? When I press constantly button power on the remote control of the tv, the options that appear do not allow me to do this. (sleep mode, restart and power off). Best regards
The Audio is really poor. I don’t even know how if it’s legal to sell a tv in 2022 with this kind of speakers. My iPhone 8 got better audio. I had to buy a Sony soundbar to watch tv. It costs around 90€ but worth the money. Now I got pretty decent imagem and an excellent audio
We have Ziggo on cable. It needs a DVB-C tuner for frequency and network id etc. Is it possible with this tv to let it search channels on frequency and network id ?
i bought it a year ago..overall ok but dolby vision content from premium netflix sometimes freeze and stuck.even i use 300mbps internet wifi.maybe the processor not power enough.
Hi if you still have this tv, could you please measure tv stand width for me? It has not been told on any site and I have an 80cm wide table where it must fit.
Dolby vision gaming on ps5 its only possible in the Sony TV (and not even all the models). Xbox series x should be able to use dolby vision in this TV but don't expect much because this TV its very dimm and its not a great experience. Sdr should look better, unfortunately hdr and especially dynamic hdr in low tier tvs its just a marketing move.
I don't speak English ... could you tell me if you recommend this tv to watch 4k movies and to watch series? Or on the contrary you know another tv that is better in that aspect for the same price
Hey there. Are the stand below the tv adjustable horizontally? I would get the 32 inch version but it isnt 4k but if i get this 43 inch i'd be placing it on top of my monitor stand riser
On my TV XIAOMI ANDROID TV P1 [MI TV P1 43"] appears in the application AIDA64 , Screen Resolution: 1920 x 1080. Now since it is a 4K TV should not appear 3840 x 2160 ?
@@GaryJahman Is there an application on Google Play for Android TV that allows you to check if the screen has resolution capability of 3840 x 2160 i.e. 4K?
@@GaryJahman when I am trying to turn on vrr on ps 5 it says my tv doesn't supports it but my tv have 120 hz,should I buy HDMI 2.1 and connect it to HDMI 3 port, will vrr works?
@@sabachavleishvili8342 the cable that came with the ps5 should be HDMI 2.1 if I’m not mistaken. Then put it in two or three and make sure to check game mode
I watched another review for this tv and the reviewer said that the sound quality on these models was bad in that background sounds\ music tend to interfere with dialogues and whatnot. Any truth to that?
The sound quality is not the best indeed, but I did not had any interference as you described? I've watched quite a lot of movies, maybe it has to do with some settings or type of movies
@@GaryJahman he means the distance between the two feet that hold the television in position. I asked to mi support service and they told me 780mm. So 962mm is the max length while the distance between the two feet should be 780mm
Try to hold the power button of the remote for 5 seconds or so. There should be a popup coming. If not then just remove the power cable and but it back in
@@GaryJahman Hi, i buy this tv Today. connected Series S console. when i check the display settings from Xbox says 4k isnt supported this tv. Also check tv properties and there is no Gaming mode. :( maybe i do wrong choise when i decide to buy this tv?!
@@GaryJahman the screw hole size on the back of the tv sir. Not for the wall. But for the tv. To attach the tv with the wall mount we need to put 4 screws right? I failed to found their perfect diameter and length.
The mounting points on the tv are square shaped: 200mm width, 200mm height. The length of the screws ofcourse depends on the wall mount, if it's thicker you will need a longer screw. The tv is light, only 7,3 kg. So the bolts don't have to be very long. They will be M5 or M6 I can predict and just make sure they go in a couple of turns. Look into the holes to determine the length. Never too long ofcourse, how difficult can it be. 🙂

@@GaryJahman thks man. What is a budget gaming tv below 55 inch? Im not sure if I should go for lg cx old or this p1 43 inch. I feel that p1 should be more than capable. Since I have both series x and ps5, I can't decide whether to go with the low entry p1 or the high end lg cx old TV. Help pls
