@@PKPhoenix83 I did that too but honestly its not a great experience software wise. Had the X100 Pro CN and now the global one. I can tell that the global one works so much better. Reliable notifications is one issue in the CN version. Also still many chinese stuff. No google feed or android auto. Last but not least. Importing expensive devices like this and having a warranty case is a surprise mechanic 😁 But yeah. Its possible but imho not the best experience
@@Granturion It's too bad Vivo doesn't allow you to unlock the bootloader and flash the global one. Re the warranty. Never have needed it anyway. Besides, most stuff can be handled by uBreak I Fix or other repair places. I look at it like driving a Ferrari. It costs more to buy, costs more to run, but you own something unique that everyone is jealous of. It's worth it.
Same situation. Moved from my mimix3 to OppoN2 waiting for something like this. Only problem is: Will all the apps work on the external screen? It's the only problem with the N2. If they don't, Motorola RAZR 50+ is a better choice
@@DarthDesigner as of now I use SamsprungUI (available on playstore) so, I can use all my apps on N2 Flip (even with skewed UI due to the app doesnt natively support front cover DPI). from the screenshots, xiaomi seems to be able to use many apps by default
@@DarthDesigner some proper reviews are already out. better looking implementation than the razr 50+ imho. Regarding apps in external screen even in N2 Flip, you can access everything with SamsprungUI avb in PS. Some apps that dont natively support external screen DPI might look wonky.
@@brosplit SamsprungUi Is not available everywhere (not on my PlayStore at least). The only solution is coverscreenOS (very expensive and not really good honestly). With the latest updates many apps now have the mini cover screen version (labs) that is nice...but they came out after almost a year! It's still a very valid smartphone and I will never go back...but before moving to a new one this is something to deeply considerate imho
Xiaomi user from Mi3 (yeah...many years ago) up to Mi Mix 3. Moved to OppoN2 flip and waited so long for something like this. Only problem is: Will all the apps work on the external screen? It's the only downside with the N2 I already have. You can choose some appa for the outer screen and some of the most useful are not available. If it's the same for xiaomi, Motorola RAZR 50+ is a better choice!
Personally I dont use my mobile camera often so thats not a priority for me, main thing is the screen which stands out among the other flip phones. I don't take calls often but like the idea of the microphone added so calls can be taken without opening the phone. Just waiting for the availability in europe :>
Only thing is with this you do not have dust or water proof, no wireless charging as has to be wired. Other than that great phone but as this is Xiaomi first attempt at a clamshell how robust will it be as also that front screen there is no gorilla glass 2 protection neither but I feel this is the right direction for a clamshell just need those missing few things I mentioned in the next attempt.
@@cwchan1625to be fair, the features OP requested are all included in the current samsung z flip 6. The Xiaomi Mix Flip global version's price is MORE than the z flip 6.
@@shuvadeepdey2574 I know that's why I said people. I have an N2 flip and can't come back anymore from a flip phone. Said that, even with larger lens this mix has more screen space than my N2, still a great improvement, maybe worth the upgrade
@@DarthDesigner I have N3 flip. I think Moto Edge 50 ultra is the best design flip phone, only if it had a decent battery. It's battery capacity is deal breaker.
yes Xiaomi just confirmed Xiaomi Mix Flip is going global!! I hope the polaroid printer too! Good news but bad news maybe will be the price. I think will cost around 1000 euros.
Decent phone except for the video stabilisation in the main camera which does not stand up to the competition. Like that can use the phone forcalls when closed.
@@vishalagrawal8717 no I'm not, you can impor Chinese phones, they work just fine. Some things missing but I don't use them either way. Google play etc works perfectly
so i tried to buy it in romania no chance ... i want this phone so bad.. ( i ended up buyng the new razr 50 ultra dosent dissapoint for the moment) but i want that xiaaomi mix flip in Romania so badd
Essa parte de esquentar é 10:05 bem preocupante, estou querendo comprar o Moto Rasr 50 Ultra pensei em dar uma olhada nesse Xiaomi Mix Flip massssss essa parte de esquentar🤔🤔🤔🤔
The Xiaomi Mix Flip is available in Black, White, Purple, and a special Nylon fiber edition. The Mix Flip can be had in 16GB/1TB, 12/512GB and 12/256GB, starting at CNY 5,999 (€760/£640/$820/INR 69,000, converted).
Why can't Xiaomi put the screen at the rear cams for the ultra ? Then we don't need to lousy Selfie cam & use the superb rear cams for selfies. They had it in 11 ultra & just remove it in 13 & 14 Ultra.
