Whats Up Renzo? Man, let me ask you, this tablet has monitor support like the iPad M1 (Stage Manager) or Galaxy S9 (Samsung Dex)? I'm planning to give a chance to working only on a tablet setup, and I really like Xiaomi, but I didn't find any information about this. Thank you already! Nice review btw.
thank you for the review! I'm looking to buy it as a replacement for my laptop, but my work sometimes requires presenting the screen (e.g to a 2nd monitor or smart tv). can this tablet do that?
@@trangnguyenthu4080 I think it's fabulous, Ive not updated to the hyperos as per mixed reviews but for 228 it's an excellent machine. I've connected to my projector via Chromecast but there was a slight lag so then did it via a hdmi wire and was fabulous, I connected it to my soundbar and it was perfect. I further wanted to see how it looks on a 4k monitor and it looked superb, no lag whatsoever. I had ordered a redmi pad pro before this but it worked out £10 more for the pad 6 8gb so went for this. Overall I like it a lot.
Can you please try to connect it to TV via HDMI 🙏🙏🙏 im hesitant to get this kasi baka hindi nmn talaga compatible sa Tv via HDMI. Im planning to use it for teaching kasi. Para. No need na ng laptop. 🙏
I just tried.. But couldn't get the similar features like this model you shared above. I also tried in Amazon. The detachable and magnetic connector will be really helpful. Let me know if you find any way. Thanks
Very good review. This tablet is absolutely amazing, cutting costs that tablet don't need and delivering to us what we really need. Amazing screen, fast response, really good multitasking and an amazing battery life. I've been using more of the tablet than my PC. Especially with a pen, it's an incredible experience!
I only sausage about ipad having a better experience. I mean it's totally depending on what you really need, but Android and specially a Xiaomi tablet, have a muuuuuch better multitasking experience and using a smaller on screen keyboard is amazing with a pen. You can't have it on ipad. I have both and Xiaomi Pad is a muzzle better experience imho
this tablet has the same chip as the one you reviewed. 2023 Lenovo Xiaoxin Pad Pro 12.7. they are around the same price? would you still recommend the pad 6?
Thank you, you’re great! ✨ Could you please recommend whether the Xiaomi Pad 6 or the iPad 10th Gen (64GB) would be better for a student? I’m particularly interested in using a pen for taking notes.
Thanks for sharing your experience. The comparison isn't as easy as between smartphones. It's still hard for me to decide whether Pad 6 or iPad air 4 is better, especially the apps optimization. The general idea about Android tablets is that it maximize the apps for the screen size but are not fully customized as Apple. Would you say to pay ~$150 more and get the apple's one mainly for studying purpose?
If you can pay for more without having to worry about budget, I would say to get the iPad Air 4 because the longevity of Apple products is absurdly great. Also, having that optimization and extra processing power is always great since you never know what else you need in the future. I think I would only recommend the Pad 6 if the Android environment, the file management, etc., is something that's suited to your workflow. And if what you need to do is to just read and take notes.
@RenzoClaros Hey, I couldn't find your video again, and I didn't receive notification the time you replied, which is weird from RU-vid. Anyway, I just want to update anyone passing by here. Air 5 2022 is the perfect choice at this time, and the 4th is a bit old now. Unless I'm getting an Android flagship "Samsung Ultra" , which is not the case rn. Thanks again.
get the Pad 6, 8/128 goes for 12k php or roughly less than $240. I got the 8/256 for retail price of $420, but You can get it online for $330 or less. Don't go for iPads, low storage for the price you're paying. Anything an iPad can do the Xiaomi Pad 6 can do also. I picked Xiaomi Pad6 even though I'm an apple user
Hi! I was looking for a successor to the Lenovo P11 Plus Gen 1 that I currently have, and I decided to get the Xiaomi Pad 6, w/o the keyboard and pen back in March of this year, I was very impressed! It has Dolby Vision, something the P11 Plus or the P12 ( which I ALMOST bought, but didn't, even though it has 3K resolution ) don't have. And it's now running the HyperOS system and Android 14 as well. I'm very satisfied with my purchase, and I'm almost tempted to get the Lenovo P12 as my successor to another tablet I currently have, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite...the 2020 version for the holidays or next year... but that would be a bit of an overkill, so this will be my in-home daily device from this moment on. Thanks for the informative review of the Xiaomi Pad 6! I heard that the Pad 7 will have an OLED screen, but I'm sticking with the Pad 6, Dolby Vision and HDR-10+ support was the boxes I'd check straight away when I bought it, 😀👍!
if you only want to practice programming then you can use coding websites, if you want to run a specific programming software or IDE like vs code which is not supported by android then you should get a laptop.
Hi Renzo, can it support running 10 chrome tabs simultaneously given the 8GB ram. Have u tried the memory extension to 16gbram with the storage? Thanks
Same question. I use miui 14. I saw couple videos of comparing, so there are some problems with animations when you switching between apps, and general performance downgrade. I will wait for big update...
Pad 6> ipad 9th & 10th gen. Even though I'm an iPhone 12 user I chose to get Xiaomi Pad 6. Anything you can do on the Ipad 9 & 10 the Xiaomi Pad 6 can too, if not more since its not shackled by its OS.
i got the keyboard but it came with a japanese and spanish manual, do you know what key combination i have to press to get it to Android settings? (it supports windows, android and ios, but i cant figure out how to set it to android.. so that i can use finger gestures on the touchpad to zoom in, zoom out etc. help please
Is it just me or some apps na nalagay sa floating dock ayaw ma remove ? Ni close ko na app sa workstation mode and sa tablet mode di pa rin natatanggal. Need ko pa i restart yung tablet mismo
@@carpediem335 It simply goes down to what you prefer, performance or a bigger screen? For me, I use my tablet for studying/note taking and content viewing (i.e. RU-vid, Netflix, etc.) so the bigger screen is a huge +. I also am not into heavy gaming so the sacrifice in performance is unimportant to me (the Poco Pad can still run modern, heavy games but not with as good performance as the Pad 6). As for the usage you mentioned, I believe the Poco pad will be good enough for your daughter, but I would wait to see someone post an artist review to see how good the pen is for digital art (not all pens are equal in that regard). Also see the price difference in your region, in my country the pad 6 is just ~15$ more expensive than the Poco pad, so I would go with that if I don't care about the smaller screen. But if the price difference is higher for you than the the Poco pad would be a better bank for your buck. Hope this wasn't so complicated, follow up if you still can't make a decision!
Can I ask a favor if you can check and see if it has memc in the Ai image engine in the display settings? Planning to get this or the 6 pro but i cant find any video showing the Ai image settings. I am on mi pad 5 now but we dont get that feature which I love it on my xiaomi 14 and Smart TV, thanks!
Thanks a lot brother. I have been stuck in this cunnundrum of whether to get the xiaomi 14 + pad 6 combo together for 1400 (which will replace my five years old heavy gaming laptop with broken chasis making it immobile) and my current broken phone which is 4 years old. Or just keep the immobile laptop at home and get the Xiaomi 14 ultra insane phone for 1400. Been on this for 3 weeks now.
