It's clear that the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro is clearly a better deal than the OnePlus-Pad, but currently, the Tab S8 is quite often around $500, and it comes with the Spen, better software and better software tracking and especially an SD card slot. Choose wisely.
No sd card slot? Just buy the 512gb version of xiaomi pad and i think thas such storage is enough, like comon, you don't download pc games that takes 100gb of storage. And don't forget about usb c pendrives!
@@Justguy363 OnePlus Pad with 128GB is more than enough, i can't imagine someone needing more than that, unless you're a super heavy gamer, & record ridiculously long videos, why do that when you have your phone I personally have the oneplus pad, got it for just 360 bucks, couldn't be happier
@@xXVibrantSnowXx on phone is not very comfortable to edit videos, especially for people who has big fingers. Tablet are more superior for editing videos. And for gaming too, because you see enviromemt better and less tight controls. (In my opinion)
Floss i gotta give props to you. The difference between you and other tech reviewers is that you still review tech for us peasants, and you do it with the same excitement as you review the more expensive stuff, whereas other channels just review the high end stuff, and even that has become regular - degular for them, so the excitement for the viewer is gone. Thank you Floss! #peasantsunite
YOOOO MY MAN FLOSSY CARTER IS ALMOST AT 2MILLION SUBS 🥺🥺.. I don't typically finish videos. I can honestly say, I watch his videos in tears until the end.. He's Knowledgable , entertaining, and lets not forget about white shoesssss bruh
Hey Floss, After about 7 years of watching your videos, I was today's year old when I really understood what "no meat boys allowed" actually meant😅. Keep doing yo thing, much love.
The sound test is dope man! Also, the tab doesn't natively support Always on display (AOD) is due to the LCD panel, the lenovo tab you mentioned has the AMOLED panel and hence it natively supports AOD. The upcoming Xiaomi HyperOS could make the pad 6 pro more productive! Do keep an eye out for it and if possible please make a video once you install it on your device, would help others :) Bottom line - Pad 6 pro beats Oneplus Pad is every sense! Shame that it is not available globally :( But good thing is it can be imported via Trading Shenzhen or Giztop and the new HyperOS will definetely make this tab worth every penny!
Still watching the review but wanted to comment, Floss does a great job on his reviews! Does anyone know which tablet (if either) offer a desktop mode like Dex when connected to a monitor?
I hope samsung even xiaomi, one plus etc to release 8 inch tablet with amoled screen with stylus support, current top chipset, or atleast SD 7 gen 2 equivalent . We need ipad mini competitor.
Lenovo has a mini tablet it's Lenovo y700. You can go up to 12 GB on RAM and 256 on storage. I have it and I love it I wish there are more options though so there would be a bit more competition.
Obviously, this is all about personal preference. I really don't think you could go wrong with either tablet. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. Moreover, I love the fact that the Xiaomi offers a variety of colors. Still, I would choose the OnePlus for a couple of reasons. First off, I have had several Xiaomi devices and I have grown to hate their UI. Secondly, I have always had problems with third-party support when it comes to finding cases and screen protectors. Finally, their software & OS updates are far from timely. Conversely, I have never had any of these issues with Oneplus devices. Myself, it really comes down to track record.
I have to say, Sony has the only true flagship with expandable memory, and they and Asus still feature headphone jacks. I'm still happy we have options though, because they're still very desirable features.
Hey Floss, can you review the pixel tablet when it comes out? I'm thinking about possibly buying one, but I'm not gonna decide untill I watch your review on it.
I bought iPad mini 6 this month. Needed something to take notes on the go. Was that a wise decision? I’m an engineer and I need to scribble my thoughts all the time, make flow charts and diagrams, and when bored, scroll through social media and watch flossy carter videos. I owned a Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e before that.
Reporting back on this, Floss and crew. I got it, butter smooth and have encountered zero issues with these Chinese ROM. Plays Genshin better than my damn gaming computer.
As a small guy with small hands, it never ceases to amaze me how big of a man you are. Palming big tablets like they were an iPhone! That has to be cool.
Flossy plz do review about Luna phone. I just to know is better Nothing phone or not. They all have L E D. Light on the back. I watch some pls review it already. I like the way you review about the phone. You tell everything about the phone.plz do review about Luna phone.Thank you so much.
Xioami is no joke. My note 8 pro still makes flagships look meh. It’s still feels premium and has I think the best android skin, that feels even better than the iOS interface. If they had Verizon bands I’d stick with their phones.
i have the xiaomi pad 5 got it when it was a little over 2 months after its release and its never failed me so far. i imagine the 6 is the same so i can comfort my poor ass xd
Let me ask you real quick..whats your top 5 Tablets right now..tab s7 plus cracked..lol. Might just get a S9 Ultra because i love big screens and the sd card add on....
This tablet looks pretty cool! I just need one for school for notes and also to use on my free time, well! I'm probably going to get the case and keyboard, but no pen!! 👍😎😎😌
I have been a user of Xiaomi products for a long time, and I would like to raise an issue regarding the split-screen feature on the Xiaomi Pad 5. When using the device in portrait mode, it is impossible to split the screen vertically, and the default left-right split-screen mode is very inconvenient to use. The limited space in the left-right split-screen mode makes it difficult to work effectively. I have searched online for related issues, and many other users have also reported this problem on platforms such as Bilibili. However, despite my efforts to contact Xiaomi through various channels, I have not received any response from the company. I hope that Xiaomi can address this issue and provide a solution, as the problem has seriously affected my willingness to continue using Xiaomi products.
You just demonstrated the biggest flaw with Android. You can't really buy an Android tablet to expect the same experience across all the android products.
I enjoy this channel because a) audio is crisp clear and b) highlights the product itself. Other techtubers unnecessarily include their face in the reviews (others appear 99% in the video compared to the product they're reviewing).
I was eyeing this up but ended up buying the Lenovo Xiaoxin pad pro 2022. Similar price but you get an amoled display. I'm probably in the minority but I'm also not a fan of Miui (I own a poco F3 and every update I get introduces something which annoys me) The xiaomi is also around $40 more which is enough of a difference for me to consider in the decision making process
Check out swiper snipes review of the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro and it I promise you bro it's going to be everything that you said but instead of a person saying it it's going to be Google it's like they did select to speak or read aloud bro was so lazy he couldn't even make his own review and then added like a video from Xiaomi like the unveiling video
