MediaTek Helio G25 is a powerful addition to the Redmi 9A. While it is a budget chipset, it in no way compromises with the performance aspect of the phone.

It doesn't have a fingerprint scanner, but it does have face unlock. I'm not sure if you noticed.

While no fingerprint sensor, it does have "Face Unlock"...kind of hidden in the set-up menu. Not the fastest face unlock but it works ok..

Got my 9A off eBay for £70. For the price it's well worth it. Not at fast as a midrange or premium phone but also not ridiculously slow. There's no NFC & no fingerprint scanner. Not a big deal as the face unlock is really quick. Video playback is a bit wishy-washy. On the plus side , I get 3 days from the battery with light to moderate use. At the end of the day it's a cheap budget phone which performs really well.

Have you tried the Redmi 9? Theres a solid deal here with only about 30$ more for the Xiaomi Redmi 9(4/64) over the 9A. I think its worth it but what are your opinions? Thanks in advance
