Totally, I think we're already in that day and age where even budget-centric smartphones are a lot more capable now as opposed to a few years back where for you to enjoy something you really need to shell out a boat load of cash. 😊

If you can afford the extra spend go for the Redmi 9C, It'll last longer and is more functional 😊

I think that would depend on the amount of which you'd have to pay. I personally have not used the Samsung Galaxy A02, but when it comes to entry level smartphones, I'd probably go for the Redmi 9C. It's cheaper and functional, at least based on my experience using it.

What is the life of the battery? What happens when the battery dies? 3. I have seen Redmi 9c with A USB-C as well as Micro USB charging points. What's better? and when buying online, how can you tell which comes with which? 4. I have seen the original 10W charger with a US plug and European plug. How can you avoid the European plug when buying online and customer service don't know?

1. Can you charge with any cell phone charger? A: Technically, yes so long as it is a USB Type C charger. However, for security ans safety purposes, it is recommended to use the supplied charger. 2. Battery life: A: The battery life on the Redmi 9C is long, you're looking at 2 days to 2 days and a half on a single charge. However, this is not "guaranteed" this still depends on how you use your smartphone. On a light day, 2-3 days easy. When the battery dies? You mean if it drains the battery to 0? Or the device is no long functional, do please be specific.🙂 3. Redmi 9C with a USB Type C A: I'm not 100% sure about this variant, but it can also be a rebrand which is also possible, but unless it provides and substancial benefit, i don't see how this is possible since the Redmi 9C is an entry leve device. Probably the most noticeable feature to impct the type c is the charging and data transfer. 4. How to avoid getting the wrong charger? Simple, read the description of where you plan to purchase it. Some online stores carry specific regions others don't. Some stick the EU version since any adaptor would work. Hope that answers all your questions 😃

Well normally for instances like this, the only thing to really consider is the user experience, this to put it simple is your preferred User Interface, be it the RealMe UI or Xiaomi's MiUI. I honestly like what MiUI 12 did, as it is a lot more efficient, more dependable, but that's just my opinion. Ultimately, it still depends on how you feel about it 🙂

@@chrisispoint That's also the thing about me, I've seen miui 12 and it's quite good but I'm interested in realme UI since it's still new and it's promising. And I like trying out new stuff. I'll just pick the cheaper option tho😂😂

If you've been accustomed to using relatively high end smartphones then yes there's a huge probability this would appeal to you but there is a market for it which makes it relevant. Also, not a lot of people like buying last year or a flagship released 2-3 years ago, with the growing market for consumers nowadays, everyone is gunning for the cheapest possible smartphone that wouldn't sacrifice too much on overall performance.

So far in my testing I haven't had any issues in terms of notifications on the 9C or the 9A. There is a delay sometimes, but that's more on the stability of the internet. 😊

@@chrisispoint Thanks for reaching back to me. Is your Redmi 9C the chinese version? Xiaomi has had the Push Notification issue on some of their devices ever since the first Xiaomi phones. I hoped that MIUI 12 would've fixed the problem of my Max 3. It's been 3 days and I still have these problems.

nope, the Xiaomi Redmi 9C that was sent to me is a global variant. So I didn't need to do any modifications and the like. Based on my experience so far, the most that I've encountered with Android are delayed notifications mostly because of the servers, like if someone makes a comment on my channel, but are in a different country, sometimes it doesn't reflect, and that's not just with Xiaomi phones... but for the most part, for the past Xiaomi phones that I've reviewed and tested (all Global units) no issues. 😊

To be honest, it really depends on the user. Everyone has their own preference in terms of the UI (user interface), some prefer MIUI 12, some prefer the RealMe UI. So it really depends on you or the user 😊

Technically using a faster charger won't make the charging speed faster as it only supports a certain charging speed. And yes, having to use a charger that has a much stronger input may just cause problems with the device, it may not show signs at the moment, but in the long run, it might

I'm not entirely sure if this would be the best recommendation for night photography. There's always a flash should you need it, but if you're looking to compare this to the likes of others that has that dedicated feature, it's not going to deliver amazing results. 😊

I think the safe answer is whichever is more available to you. Obviously both cater to almost the same specifications and ultimately, the biggest differentiating factor is the Android skin between MIUI or RealMe UI. So that ultimately depends with you 😊

well... that's quite a far jump in terms of cost. If you need a smartphone just for the sake of having a smartphone then go for the Redmi 9C. But if you're looking for a little bit more power, then Mi Note 10 lite it is.

Well, aside from the Google Pixel phones, every other Android device has their own user interface which gives them their own character/ personality which comes with features and perks that may potentially make them different from one brand to the other 🙂

Honestly, I would suggest, if you're budget is just in the range of the Xiaomi Redmi 9C, go for the Poco M3. It was just recently released, has 64 GB of storage which is expandable, a huge 6,000 mAh battery and a big display. 😉

@@chrisispoint poco devices aren't available on my country unfortunately. What do you think about the Redmi 9 (3gb ram 32gb memory) over the 9C (3gb ram 64gb memory)? Both are available for the same price at the moment

@@cameron4907 well the Redmi 9 is the base model of this series, although they may have the same storage and ram configurations the processor is different. The Redmi 9 comes with a Helio G80 (which is more superior) over the Redmi 9C that comes with the Helio G35. In addition, the Redmi 9 (not the 9C) has support for 18w fast charging, considering it's a 5,000 mAh battery, the Redmi 9 would be a better pick (if the price is the same as the Redmi 9C) 😊

it's smooth enough para sa specs niya. Entry level to e, so can't really expect flagship performance. For the price, performance is decent 🙂
