I've had it free it came with a phone I bought and I've had it for a year, I ride a motorcycle with it every day, swim with it and do all my work out, and go out dancing with it. Love it.
Does it pair with whatsapp and spotify? I'd like to control my messages and music from the watch. Also is the app compatible with Huawei apps (the store that's disconnected from Google)?
Did he say run? The app says cycle. Whether cycle or run, over 5000m elevation gain is crazy for 11km. So the barometer is obviously very wrong. Good that you pointed out this. I am not buying.

The Screen on the S1 active is gorgeous 😍. The watch face that was part analog on top and digital below. Looked soo real! 😎😎 A great offering from Xiaomi. But the price feels a bit steep. Good one Bro Sean 😊✌✌

I only see revieuws from behind the desk, but how does i go in the wild, tracking and following an route, how does the gpx work with strava up or download. can you easy run and see where you have to go. can i listen music on it with BT?
I decided to pull go for it. ....it was a mistake! It's an oversized fitness band (not really a smart watch) and a bad one at that. The appearance of everything meets expectations, but the substance, data detail, accuracy, and functionality are all missing. I can't see that any of the results other than perhaps the step counter or GPS tracking are accurate to a useful degree. The sleep data appears to be entirely based off of heart rate (which is a flawed model), and there is no indication that the heart rate tracking is any better than Mi Watch, which was ok, but not excellent. If you set up the watch for the most accurate measurements and "always on" then the battery life is only 1 day (minus two hours that you can't wear it during the day if you want sleep tracking because of charging), which is annoying. I can't recommend this "watch" if you care about the data quality, and I can't recommend it if you want other features (there basically are none and there are no apps that work with it because it's a proprietary OS). Two thumbs down! I'm going to sell mine.
The same features I can get with the half price in another brand, although it has GPS but does not have a map like S2, no extra apps to be added to the watch!!
How do you connect the watch to Wifi?it shows the option in settings.when you turn it on,it even finds the various SSIDs but when a SSID is selected it says "Enter password in app" and there is no place to enter it in the Mi Fitness app
Great review! What is odd, is that the watch won’t show distances. Like if you cycle, or walk, or run. You get the time but no distance. Maybe, if this watch still gets updates, that’ll be addressed too.
i use redmi note 10 pro and when i want to download the new face watch it keep failing. but when i use my other device which is oppo f11 pro, i can function well. so anyone have any idea whats the problem with my redmi note 10 pro?

Actually they kept it pretty similar. Feature wise, there isn't anything too stand out. Perhaps it's more like for those who don't have the mi watch yet.
These are very very very overpriced for something that is not even running Wear OS. The thing I love most about wear os is the apps, and specially some camera apps, that let me get the live view from my phone, helping me take a back camera group pic. If I cannot get the apps, I am not paying $269 for essentially what is a "dumb watch".
what about the battery of a Wear OS watch? last time I used a Galaxy Active 2 was not even holding util the end of 5h bike ride using GPS..., but let's say you don't use GPS, still in 1.5 days was dead..and i'm sick of always having to charge something
@@SevenCuriosities Good.... Then wear a dumb watch, but atleast but a cheaper one.... You get far better dumb watch from Amazefit or OnePlus at far lower cost.
@@topfamous297 then have fun with your live view taking perfect framed group pics, I hope you make a lot of group pics so it is worth it. As for the dumb watches I paid 100$ for GTR3 and I find it more usefull compared to 200$ paid on the "smart" Galaxy Active 2 that always needs charging
@@SevenCuriosities My point exactly.... If you are gonna buy a dumb watch but it for $100. Buying a dumb watch for $300 makes no sense at all.... If this Xiaomi Watch S1 was under $150 I would have recommended it whole heartedly. By the way, it's not just useful for group selfies.... Put your mobile on a stand, go back and get a wide shot of yourself with the background using the back camera.... It's really useful. Give it a go, if your get a chance.
in 5 days i've recharged mine twice already...... (didn't get to 0 but to 30% when i recharged it. but still..... the old watch i had, xiaomi watch 2 lite, was unlocked for at least twice as much time during the day and needed recharging once every 2 weeks..)
Galaxy watch 4 battery life short it's because it got to maintain all the functions that eats battery life, S1 unable to text SMS or reply WhatsApp messages, Galaxy watch can see photos received it from WhatsApp or SMS, simply as 1 long battery life good for nothing, I got both so I know the differences, old Cummins from RU-vidrs did not do good jobs make comparisons. Keep your money and do not buy freak smartwatch if you have a budget. Maker of S1 CLaim the watch can make phone calls and work without mobil phone, try it!
It's a rubbish watch. I've had it 6 months and have nothing but compatibility issues with my Xiaomi phone. Xiaomi are so overrated. Never again will I buy their products
