Amazfit band 7 with zepp os can install mini apps like gmaps turn by turn direction etc from its App Store. Maybe this will be supported by hyperos when they open development by 3rd party. Ability to install games is a sign to that direction imo.
No, the smart band doesn't have a built-in memory. You can only connect headset to the smartphone, play music on it, and control it from the smart band.
I haven't had a Huawei Band 9, so I can't say which one is better. But I'm also very curious about it. If we have time, we will buy the Huawei smart band and compare it with the Xiaomi band.

Yeah, I think the Pro version will be released in a couple months. Nothing is known about it yet, but to be honest I don't expect any big updates from it, just like the Smart Band 9. Perhaps it will also have a brighter screen, and improved health tracking sensors.
Please compare it with an Apple watch (exercise, heart rate and sleep etc.) Since Apple watch is one of the best health trackers I would love to see how well Mi Band 9 comes close

@@TechBrothersReviews They updated the CN Edition of Mi Band 8 to HyperOS in Firmware 1.6.222, though it's just a name change & few icon changes. It's not real HyperOS since it doesn't use Xiaomi VelaOS.
