I recently got the xiaomi sound outdoor while in Thailand, not expecting much from it given how cheap it is. And I am amazed at how good it sounds. I tested the flip 6, emberton 2, ult field 1, beo a1 and it has deeper bass than all these and a rich clean sound. It also has very low latency when watching videos (bt 5.4 chip).

My laptop has bt 4.2 so even if i buy this will there be latency due to my laptop limitation even though the speaker has bt 5.4

Nice speaker, but not perfectly tuned. Need more agressive high pass filter for woofer. Especially huge distortion at this tracks: Tosca - Love Boat (Shanti Roots & Scheibosan Distraction Version) Mark Alow - Black Light and other..

Depends. From the description, this 30W version does not have AUX input like the 16W version.

I do think audio quality is more important on bluetooth then auxiliary 😅

@@techderaudios AUX IN is useful if you don't want to reduce quality and add latency. Both of which are improved with 5.4 bluetooth, but trying to use the speaker with a laptop, you'll find not many of them, even recent ones support 5.4

I love my Xiaomi MI 16w but only close proximity like 20 cms, i usually keep them on my chest and they sound awesome but as soon as im a couple meters away they sound shitty. I wonder how these sound from avfew meters away?
