Jing never had a chance. He refused to protect himself from his brother. His grandmom manipulated and betrayed him. That female was not trying to hide her relationship with his brother. He had many opportunites to send his brother away and to investigate what that woman was doing behind his back. I'm not sure how he could forgive his grandmom for her betrayal. He's a better person than I could ever be. She would not be forgiven for that.

Why do I feel like people are focusing only on the way Xiaoyao feels. What about how Jing feels. He didn't betray her or cheat on her. I don't think he actually slept with the girl. They just made him wake up in the same bed as her so he would think so. And even if he did sleep with her when he was drugged, then he was literally raped and betrayed by his own grandmother. None of this is his fault. None of it. If anything, he is the one I pity the most in the show. He is just too nice. And you can't blame him for being indecisive about the engagement. In fact, he wasn't indecisive. He already decided to break off the engagement. His grandmother just happened to get ill at the same time. So what do you want him to do. Leave his grandmother alone like that and go stay with Xiaoyao? That would make him no different from his brother. The fact that Fanfeng Yiying also tried to commit suicide when he was so adamant about breaking the engagement just made everything worse. He wasn't indecisive about the engagement or Xiaoyao. The people around him (His Family) just made everything hard. And when his grandmother died, There was no reliable person by his side. That was so sad. He was all alone when everything got worse for him. Xiaoyao and Cang Xuan also have their own set of troubles or problems but at least they have each other to rely on. But Jing didn't have anyone by his side after he and Xiaoyao broke up. I feel sorry for Tushaun Jing the most.
I agree that he was being raped but he is a timid person who lacks courage, and don't have guts to speak up for himself and repercussions of all these their partner had to pay. Sometime these kind of personalities become very negative later on

I have never been so mad about that woman and jing's cousin,he tried killing jing,and now no one knows if that child is Jing's child,and even if,he didn't ask for the mom or the baby,grandma is the culprit,xhe drugged him,still , i blamed jing,he knew the kind of environment she is living it,he supposed to be more careful.

Even if child isn't his didn't he get drugged and actually sleep with other woman? I mean I think it's crazy he needed 15 years to break engagement off that he never did then he could be a father plus he married the other woman on top of that. I mean he betrayed her love and trust. That's why if she can't end with demon then I rather her not end with anyone. I wished this drama didn't make Jing character cheat it sucks
O jin me parece muito bom com quem lhe faz mal, passando a imagem de covarde, indeciso e fraco. Mas tanta submissão pode esconder algo muito ruim. Espero que não seja o grande vilão da história na segunda temporada. Será uma terrível dor para XY. Mas diante do que o platinado fez por ela eu queria que tivessem um final feliz juntos.

He’s not weak. He’s very soft hearted and bound by his responsibilities as the leader of the clan and responsibilities to his grandma. He’s extremely soft hearted and gentle and doesn’t want to hurt anyone.

He lets his family hurt him, hurt the woman he loves, destroy his future and control his life (by organising everything for him while he doesn’t dare to refuse, has to follow what they want him to do). This was a time where filial piety is greatly practiced and going against/disrespect against your elders were greatly frowned upon. He is also bound by his own duties to his clan. Granted, he pretended to not know her in public so as to not bring unwanted attention to her from others. My only qualm with him was that he took too long to cancel his engagement and was not more headstrong against his grandma, but I also understand that he loves his family very much and does not want to defy her. But you can bet that he will fight till the end of his last breath to protect XY if anyone dares to hurt her, which was the case during the first few eps where XL kidnapped her and Jing barged and fought hard to protect XY. So, I don’t see him as “weak.” Being soft hearted is exactly the reason why XY loved him. If anything, he is too passive, but it’s bc he does not like conflict.

It's rare if I like someone too much after Astro and xiao zhan it's u tushan jing i really admire you ur character in the starting portrayed so well I didn't understand why u r so weak to accept xiaoyao when you really love her u need to take her stand otherwise how can she will honest with u I m hoping that in the second season u do something like show ur strength to realise her ur love towards xiao is not fake so may she come to you ....❤

jing a nice guy but his character is too weak for xy. She is always a target and jing isnt going to be able to protect her in the long run even with her archery. She is wearing the pants and hes the house wife.
