The problem is If she's meant to be universal then make her be.. what a waste, why make her not able to boost Dendro when She doesn't need Crystallize. It doesn't make any sense... @@markusbrendon i've been playing navia only with zhongli since her release and her burst has been enough crystalise since then, zhongli only provide one shard during the whole rotation, when casting the skill
geo didn't need saving tbh. best eco system for all-around content clearing as it has its own characters (so leave other high-demand units to the other team), highest survivability, high damage and aoe. people just don't bother to build it properly.
the fact that Navia works well with other element application characters make Xilonen so valuable too and she also buffs 40% elemental dmg for ALL them with new set on top of that @@
@@GraveUypoagree with everything except high damage. Geo doesn't really reach high damage and has suffered from a lack of buffers and defense shredders. Xilonen solves both of those things tho.
She puts Geo as a whole a in a very good place in the meta. She opens up actual META geo cores like Xilonen/Yunjin and Xilonen/Albedo with the amount of buffs these can provide in a vacuum. The devs are finally doing the balancing work.
So basically, she's a built in, better "viri set" that allows double swirl setups with ease and will work with all elements except Anemo and Dendro whilst being capable of using the new artifact set that gives similar DMG bonuses of that of a 1k EM Kazuha, on top of giving interruption resist and on-field character healing. Yep, close enough. Welcome, Kazuha's 2nd coming 😂

I feel like Xilonen is gonna get the Yelan treatment, instead of being a replacement for a character (Kazuha in this case) she’s either gonna be used on the other team, or they’ll both be used together and just allow the main DPS to destroy everything with their buffs. Kazuha will still be useful at the end of the day, even if he may not be the best in the future he at least won’t be the worst, while I may skip Xilonen for now and get her on her rerun (I need Kinich and Mavuika now!), I just hope she doesn’t get nerfed to oblivion.
she could replace furina in some teams that have trouble with healing. kazuha will be in the same place sucrose has been all along. very very good, nearly as good as kazuha, but not quite so gets overlooked to the extreme.
They'll definitely be used on separate sides. While you can run both of them in the same team, it's not really optimal because res shred decreases in value the more it stacks, and they both apply a ton of dmg bonus that it'd be better to run someone else that can buff a different stat.

A correction: The samplers don't seem to actually shred resistances from the get go, you have to activate them first (get to 90/90 NSP, so 2 NA/PA hits.)

@@blueinblurr Well, technically it needs you to get to 90 NSPs but you cannot get more than 45 by yourself without two conversions. I don't think it has to be SEPARATE conversions, I think having two of the same element will be enough. Also, if in the future they'll add some other way to generate NSPs (artifacts/weapon/character that recharges NSPs for others in the party) you may be able to do it with 0/1 converted but I won't hold my breath.
hey i have a question : so i was thinking of playing kazu, xilo, furina, neuvilette but as we know, for xilo to give res shred we need 2 samplers + cap out her NSP, but in the team i want to play there is only 1 compatible element, so that means I won't be getting the shred nor thr healing ? 😭🙏
I notice you didnt talk about this but I think xilonen is especially good for aggravate. normally you would have to sacrifice nahida for kirara or smth to bring kazuha but now with her you can bring nahida with little downside. additionally c2 provides keqing the ability to burst more often. xilonen seems overall just incredible for aggravate.

If Xilonen's essential kit goes unchanged even in general numbers for support, Xilonen's gonna shake up the meta real quick. Double geo is gonna be the new double hydro or be similar to a Bennett + Xiangling double pyro core. I can imagine Xilonen + YunJin or Xilonen + Albedo or Xilonen + C1 Chiori, or just Xilonen herself. Geo as a whole gets buffed by Xilonen's meta defining kit. She is basically geo Kazuha + Faruzan. And its because she also compliments her own element while also havifn the c1 and c2 bait. She might sell harder than previous archons. Shes hot, waifu, meta, meta changing, and exploration meta powercreep. Xilonen's a full package
Any core that isn't Bennett + Xiangling is welcome to me. I'm tired of circle impact and ER issues. I legit got C2 Dehya and benched my Xiangling in my Mualani team comp. 💀 Currently running a burning team consisting of Mualani, Baizhu, Emilie, and Dehya (can swap out Baizhu with Nahida if you use R5 PA on Mualani). I think Emilie + Mavuika will also be a strong core for any pyro/cryo/hydro teams.
not just that, Kachina is the perfect partner for Chiori because Cinder City+construct that Kachina has. So now we have Kachina-Chiori for offensive off-field Double Geo support damage core, and Xilonen+DPS/buffer for a more all-round Double Geo core. We're getting there slowly but surely.

Nobody ever mentions that she can also create the occasional crystallize, which does technically give you a hit of resistance to interruption even at c0. Similar to getting like one of baizhu's burst shields. Enemies in Genshin attack super slow in general so it's actually quite nice.
Looks like geo finally caught up to anemo. It was suppose to be that way since 1.0 with the petra set. However picking up items on the field is too cumbersome.

So kazuha has dmg bonus through his kit & res shred through artifact while xilonen is the opposite with res shred in her kit & dmg bonus through artifact
I'm just super happy that we finally get a [5*] Geo healer and moreso it is Xilonen coz her and Mavuika are the only Natlan chars I'm interested on pulling and that I'm a Geo collector. Her buffing capabilities are just a sweet cherry on top! Her looks and her gameplay animations are sleek as well. I'm so excited!!

oh yeah, my noelle already does 116k damage normal attack damage (n4 anyway) with furina gorou yunjin, with her instead of yunjin i expect this to jump to around 130k 🤤

never used navia with xianyun. is that good? i normally use yunjin instead since my navia uses a redhorn and does 80~100k normals with her furina and bennet

finally female kazu kit natlan artif for buff ele, her own kit for 36% shred at talent 10 easy team 1 and team 2 now ultimate segs (while kazu is just opposite haha, shred is from artif, ele buff is from talent kit)
This is great for Geo, but it's sad that we have 3 neutral elements that just work as a 4th slot. Anemo, Geo, & Dendro not reacting with each other means you almost never see their elemental application used together. Anemo buffs cryo/electro/pyro/hydro, Dendro reacts with electro/pyro/hydro, and Geo is just used for shields or pure dmg (or now as an anemo replacement). This was Hoyo's chance to make a Geo support that buffs Anemo & Dendro.
Dendro is already kind of broken to the point you don't even need good artifacts to have a meta team Hyperblooms can casually hit 30K per bloom core without nahida C2 and all you need is high Elemental mastery and a level 90 electro character
@@hello_mr.yomi6627 I'm aware of how good hyperbloom is, but that doesn't mean other team comps should be rewarded too. Spread is less dps than aggravate because of Swirl. And until last patch, Burning wasn't viable and Burgeon is still worse than Hyperbloom. Where's mono Dendro? You can't put 3 Dendro on a team like you can any other element. You also can't put geo and dendro on the same team to create reactions, or anemo with a dendro main dps. It just doesn't work. That's why I'm asking for team building diversity. The game shouldn't focus so much on Pyro, Hydro, Electro, & Cryo so that there's only a handful other other on-fielders, and those on-fielders only have 1 element combo they work with. Play a geo dps that isn't Navia? Mono Geo team. Play an anemo dps? Mono Anemo. It's so tiring not having good alternatives.
I honestly and really want to pull. But they do nerf her to oblivion more power to mavuika tbh I would get Xilo on her rerun. It's win win either way ig.

Is that C2 not completely broken for Electro? That makes Raiden go from 38% to 54% uptime. Basically 41% damage increase. But also, you can use Miko and Sara in Mono Electro and they all get to have their bursts every rotation. She'd also almost double aggravate Keqing's damage. And probably make TF DPS Dori self-battery and become Elecrto mini-Navia. Electro MC can probably self battery too... ...and I can finally get Double Lamp Lisa!
That C2 certainly is something. I was expecting an evolution of overload to scale Clorinde potential in the future ; expended by a unit similar to how Nilou did things, but I guess thats works too. Vertical investment is getting wild. C2 Clorinde, C2 Furina, C2 Xilonen + C2 Pyro Archon?* (if shes also a support) C2 Nahida can do for now. Clorinde can drive reaction and burst spam. This is almost too good to be true... Hoyoverse allowing "fun" comp in Genshin... next they are gonna fix Raiden and Beidou burst interaction and buff Dehya?
True, that C2 is insane imo. She buffs everyone in the team so it doesnt matter if they are off field or on field, they all deal more dmg. Im sure Navia, Xilonen ,Furina and Mavuika will be a crazy team
well i don't have much use for her supportive capabilities so main carry xilonen it is. too bad the c2 electro effect works only for electro chars it would actually be the best buffer for eula huge qol improvement as well. well maybe they will make a char later that has it in their base kit. we don't really have a burst support 5* in the game, except raidne but shes bad at it since shes a carry

Wait, xilonen wouldn't be also better than kazuha with neuvillette? Cause neuvillette is not dependent on kazuha's grouping, and xilonen don't need to get back on field mid rotation to keep up with neuvillette's longer rotations
The best thing about xilonen is that you can use her AND an anemo unit together to buff you mualani, but since she also heals, you can use her with furina for your mualani along an pyro unit to go boom

At C0, she provides about 12% DMG increase for Neuvillette Mono-Hydro when compared to Zhongli, although the playstyle also becomes considerably smoother (no need to pick shards to trigger Archaic Petra) and Zhongli is VERY invaluable to both Arlecchino and Hu Tao, whom you may want to have a team for in the other side of the abyss. At C2 she's obviously much superior to both Zhongli and Baizhu as an Elemental DMG buffer, but keep in mind that Baizhu is Nilou's best team mate and also a powerhouse for Hyperbloom (and again, Zhongli is very useful because of his shield). There's virtually no team in which she's better than Kazuha, and her best teams actually use the two. But she does provide an easier-to-use buff, like said before, as well as the opportunity to have two units acting like Kazuha on different sides of the Abyss. I would not recommend getting her C2 over getting both her and Kazuha at C0, and only Kazuha if low on primos, but if you manage to obtain both, go for Xilonen's C2 over Kazuha's C2.
Main thing that if Mavuika is like Furina gives dmg% or bennet 5* gives atk buff then you better use Mavuika + Kazuha instead of Mavuika + Xilonen then. because if mavuika is a buffer or at least subdps she also can use this new 40% dmg set instead of xilonen and in that way Kazuha covers 2 slots
Imo I won't recommend neither Kazuha c2 or Xilonen's c2, both of them are kinda niche and something like c2 Furina or c2 Yelan will be more beneficial overall.
You should all guys keep in mind that her 40% dmg buff is coming from the set which can be used by ANY Natlan char(and not just Natlan) while anemo set is only just for anemo and kazuha covers 2 slots this way. So if Mavuika lets say will be a 5* Bennet then you can run this set on her and put kazuha in for much more profit than xilonen. But still she is awesome because of how easy for her to setup and that buffs lasts much longer
Xilonen can be paired with Furina who at C0 can give a 75% dmg bounus Xionen can also slot geo res which is now a little bit better and for mono Geo teams extremely powerful If your going to use a character like itto she is a must pull ●at talent lv9 and with geo resonance you can shred 53% geo resist ●with max fanfare C0 furina/4 piece cinders/geo resonance /and goro 3 stack will give 145% dmg bounus and with C1 furina its 165%

Because in mono geo her passive with 35 nightsoul points per hit will not work and her geo sample will be active only while she is onfield. She is terrible for Itto. She in her mono geo is Onfielder HERSELF.

Just not as universal as pure dmg% or pure hp% dont overlook at it, if those c2 bonuses not stack(i mean in 1 geo 1 pyro 1 cryo sample she gives 30% cr 50% cd and 40% atk for ENTIRE team) this c2 is not that great then in comparrison to c2 furina and c2 xianyun
I'm going to use her with neuvi,kazuha, and baizhu. Furina will be with xiao. And since this team has only one samples her damage is increased and baizhu does the healing.

Question, for dps neuvi would xilonen be a big upgrade? My thoughts behind this is you might be able to run her alongside furina and kazuha and since shes one of the few characters who provides buffs that hp scalers can work with I was curious how this would compare to his other teams
Better, xilonen is geo so there will be some crystallize shields for interruption immunity when it is up. Neuvillite charge attacks have interruption resistance 0.5 poise dmg received multiplier and 0 at c1 which is basically interruption immunity. Worse case scenario, can put EM on xilonen for better crystallize shield while still providing a better buff than zhongli.
Wait a second... so Xilonen is not Geo Kazuha, she is an onfield DPS that supports off-field sub dps units like Yae-Miko ,Fischl, Xinqui, Yelan, Furina, Xiangling, Rosaria, Kaeya, etc. Think about it her burst will heal off-field characters while rotation, her NA will trigger Xinqui and Yelan and her Plunges can be buffed with Xianyun along with Furina and her C2 buffs off-field sub-dps even more. Therefore Xilonen is Geo Neuvillette?! Neuvillette heals himself, Xilonen heals the whole team, Neuvillette is focused on Charge Attacks while Xilonen can switch between Normal/Plunge Attacks.
You misunderstood, she’s an off field support, you only need to activate her samplers by doing an N2 on field and then you can swap off and get the benefits. She is NOT a driver
Xilonen and Chasca will be game breaking (According to the leaks chasca can absorb a element and do it's dmg [there will be a passive which changes anemo dmg bonus to that element for her])

I just wish they wouldn't forget OG characters I like and powercreep them to oblivion. If they could buff older artifact sets and make their QoL better then it wouldn't feel like I'm missing something by not using natlan characters.

The one reservation I have about Xilonen, is the night and day difference between her base kit and C2. She's a Kazuha clone for teams like overload with Chevy, in which Chevy is better, but her C2 pushes the limits of even what Chevy can do and outperforms her in all likelihood. A Raiden hyper carry with Chevy is unmatched, but Raiden makes very good use of Xilonen's electro resonance CD reduction when Xilonen is C2. To me, her C2 is her selling point if you're someone who doesn't like Kazuha/someone who has alternative supports to Kazuha that outperform or match him. This is a problem for me because it says "get her C2 or don't get her at all". She's a great support, but without her C2, you can't justify using her over more specialized supports that outperform her base kit, in my opinion.
Her c2 isn’t even that good though…? Let’s take an mualani,xiangling,nahida team as an example. Only mualani would get an relevant buff(40% hp) which is nice but that’s it. Xiangling only wants er and nahida isn’t even getting buffed. It’s alright but many also have said that’s it like meh. It just looks op at first glance
@@Soroiono That is a fair argument, but you wouldn’t be using that team anyways. When we speak about her C2, we’re mostly talking about the crit buffs that Cryo and Geo get. Aside from that, Xiangling does benefit from the Atk buff for Pyro. The more I look into it and the less I take it at face value, I might come to agree with you completely, but as it stands, I do think her C2 is just that good. I also think Xilonen is foreshadowing for what’s to come. Obviously, current teams and elements have better options (Raiden overload, mono cryo, freeze etc.), but I think in the future she might have more room to grow with characters.
The secret to good Geo units really is ignore any concern over the element/constructs whatsoever and just slap on high multipliers. Not my favorite way of addressing the element but it makes Geo sell better at least.

@chihaotran1568 Multipliers not strictly meaning the units attack multipliers to be more specific. She adds a lot of damage amplification to the team here. If Hoyo wants a unit to be good they either give them stupid attack multipliers or stupid amplifiers.
Mihoyo wants to sell their waifus because they can't sell without being given advantages. Also, no geo as an element sucks. It's the individual characters they gave advantages on. Funnily, they stopped making male geo characters.

Xilonen, Deepwood full em Thoma, Yelan/Furina and Kinich. This team looks interesting although not having bennett means thoma's er reqs are gonna be alot worse unless you have 180-190% with r5 kitain and at least 1 fav, there also needs to be some hydro crystalizes she buffs furina/Yelan instead of thoma.
I've discussed this with a, I guess you could say a friend of mine. He and I both agreed that she is a must pull for the meta slaves if this is what the release version looks like. Idk how many of you would agree, but I definitely am happy with this and would 100% pull for her
While she can't group enemies like Kazuha can, she does seem better for multi wave content I do wish she could do off-field damage but I guess hoyoverse saw that as too much
go fight the new local legend pyro fatuus in natlan without zhongli and say that again. there is no killing zhongli. if anything, with how many geo shields that need breaking there are now, zhongli is better than ever since he's the best at breaking those.
if buffs from c2 dont stack (i mean cryo buff for hydro char if you have both cryo and hydro in same team) then her c2 is like Kazuha's c2 but just more universal, nothing as broken as Furina \ Xianyun c2
Xilonen is a superior support as long as it reaches C2, and provides greater buffs at C4 for NA, CA and PA main. Her only issues is no off-field damaging skills, which is concerning because it means she will need be rotate every 15s to perform 3 attacks for debuff activation. Gotta say this part is annoying when compared to kazuha. Also if we compare c6 to c6, Kazuha can indefinitely debuff enemy with 4pcs viridescent because his NA is fused with ameno to cause swirl at all times = =. @TGS can you make a comparison betweeen C6 Kazuha vs C6 Xilonen ?
