Big fun with a little buggy! Nice review, Phil, cool how you listed all the features whilst running it, rather than in the workshop! Great solo filming and driving, I don't know how you do it mate, especially whilst commentating at the same time!
haha....I'm like a one man band, you can imagine all the strings attached to my limbs as I'm filming. Glad you noticed the slight change of review, I'm going to do it on a few and monitor the watch time to see if it improves over my standard format of reviewing. Cheers for watching Mark 😎🇬🇧
@@TomleyRC My pleasure, Phil! I like your analytical response - we can always improve - and congrats on the 7K + subs my friend, keep on going upwards! 😎🇬🇧
I just did a little one-handed driving while I tracked my Slash with my other hand. I´ve been looking at the results today and I have to say that I´m extremely impressed with the way you drive the car and keep the camera pointing the right way. This video contains some utter gems - not all in slomo - any one of which I´d have been very proud to have captured so well. I love the Q901, too - once again the fibs about top speed seem so pointless when the truck clearly doesn´t lack performance.
Cheer Del... it's taken a little while to get the 1 handed driving and filming to work, sometimes it's not possible due to the size of the transmitter. This video had a mix of both. I've been playing with this in the garden this evening, it's very lively!
I added a dipole antenna to the tx to help the horrible range. Shocks will definitely need replacing. Runs like a scalded ape on an old 3s infinity graphene 70c awkwardly strapped with velcro. The motor gets warm but not hot. More worried about the gears but they have been tough as nails. No sudden direction changes dont wanna strip em. Check motor mount screws they came loose on me.
Loving this one thanks for sharing very important information giving thanks blessed love to all knowledge is power hopefully everyone pays attention keep up the good work 🙏🙏🙏🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲💪💪💪
Well am liking this truck mate, view upgrades and it will be sweet, am sure you will be able to put a 3s in this mate, carnt wait to see it on the skate park or Bashing , 🤔 fantastic speed run bro, really enjoyed every minute as always 👍😎👍
Hi, nice wheelies and video. I own one with same color. Highly recommend to change shocks with oil filled. I have to say I couldn't make wheelies on asphalt and concrete so far but on grass is peace a cake.
Pretty sure the 45 can size motor in there is highly undergeared. The 2445 had a lot of torque and since is a low kv motor, you can squeeze out a lot of performance for sure!!
Good video mate, I too have been looking at this one for review, I have the 9130 like yours in blue and done a stock 2s and got about 26kph.. They all exaggerate the speeds of course.. The other week I threw a 3s in it and got close to the speed of this one on the brushed model, check out the speed run if you like! Looks like they threw the 9125 tx in the package with this one also. This looks better for sure, thumbs up buddy!
Cheers dude, yeah...never believe the box speed! I've just been out the back with this on a big skate ramp...it's certainly lively! Backflips....front flips the lot :) 👍
It is a good idea, I have one and run it on 3 s and damn that thing is fast ... I have lots of fun with it .I have a jlb cheetah, a arrma senton blx 3 s and a couple more rcs and this is one of my favorite ones ..on 3 s that is
Good truck it does exactly what it says on the box (besides the speed🤣) but when do they do the speed they say on the box? I’m looking for something I can bash about n let the kids have a go with, so this could be it? Thanks for the info good video 👍
I finally replaced the rear diff on my brushless q903 truggy after it was sitting around broken for months, I added the oil filled shocks and it never comes close to bottoming out now.
Not bad, bit overpriced though IMO. Xinlehong and most of the Chinese RC companies over exaggerate the speeds on these trucks. I have the 9130 brushed version..slapped a 3s lipo in that recently and got 36.2kph which is the same speed as this brushless version and have bashed it many times on 3s with the brushed 390motor and brushed ESC..handling the power increase fine with no issues
Mine came with a parallel battery plug . Is that more power or longevity . Two 1000. So 2000. . And it loves it. 45 min of play and chacing it when it back flips
All the main plastic parts are the same as the Brushed versions (lots of spares for them). I'm sure in a month or 2 there will be part available, usually takes them a while to catch up.
I heard you say that in the video but I believe Jake Billing said they could be filled in his video if I remember correctly. Just double checking. Thanks for your time.
Yeah you may have heard that. I've taken mine apart though to properly have a look. They look like Oil filled from the outside, but you need to have a proper look as these companies are good at trying to fool us! lol .
Hi, nice video. I have a 9125 and I'm thinking to buy Q901 (I found it at 65€!) Where can we find spare parts? 9125 spare parts are everywhere! My only doubt about Q901 is if I will find spare part easily. What do you think?
The plastic parts on this will be the same as the 9125 I believe. The metal centre shaft will be the same I should think as well. It may be a while until parts are available, but Xinlehong do usually release spares etc...
@@TomleyRC Thanks brother! Man choosing a 1:16 is a tough job lol. Now i have 2 options to finalise my decision. Remo Hobby S-Max 1635 (Brushless), or rebranded HBX 16889 brushless. Hoping you could guide me to the right choice 😁 Tomley if you have any other better option please don't hesitate to recommend it instead of one of the RC's i mentioned. Much appreciated bro
@@TomleyRC ordered 14401 😎👍 thank you frd. Also I m looking at a 1/10 scale. Saw octane xl or cobra from vrx. Do u think it's good for the price or if any other u think in same price segment a good 1/10
With these cheaper vehicles with no oil in the shocks, iv'e been taking them apart and putting a small washer and o-ring in them, even did this on a WPL c24 suspension too and they seem to all be holding their oil so far 👍
yes. very simple. just snap the old ones off and snap the new ones on. google q901 oil shock. buy them from gearbest or ebay. some of the metal is gold/yellow so that's how you can spot them.
