This is definitely the most punishing version of the song, the bass is overdriven and the drums are fucking gigantic sounding. Probably the best version as well.

Was meant to see the xiu live in Brighton(England) Jamie cancelled due to mental health problems and left a lovely message for the fans with and without tickets

I actually really like how different this song turns out live across the band’s different iterations. I saw them as a two-piece in a tiny place in Brooklyn ages ago and they didn’t have a guitar for this song (I think this was the Angel Guts Red Classroom tour). Honestly like this song more when it’s simpler and more pared down than this performance, but still very cool to hear!

Does Xiu Xiu have other songs like this one? Most of the others ive checked out are kinda experimental for my taste... one reminded me of Venetian Snares tbh ... I prefer this sound though!
