Thanks for your comment, noticed some play in the tail slider wheel and the 2 bolts that ride in the wheels groove should that be a concern? As well the tail grips have also some small lateral play even after replacing dampners and thrust bearings, even the tail boom guide doesn't fully trap the push rod, the design appears looser than I would expect, comments?
I’ve got mine coming this week! It’ll be a “slow build” I’ll build up the airframe. Then piece together the rest over time as I gain more flying experience on my S2 and the sim.
I bought me this Heli a few days ago. Why does it matter on which side the numbers of the servo linkages are? Are they not the similar on each side? And thx for this video. Helped me
Awesome! You will enjoy this heli. So the ball links are directional. One side is smaller than the other. The smaller side is the outside with the numbers and the larger side is the inside that goes onto the ball itself. You could force it on the opposite way, but you risk not having a good connection that is why it is important to make sure the numbers are facing out.
Hi! Thank you very much for all your videos. They are very entertaining and above all educational. Especially the Mikado videos are very useful for me. I now have a very stupid question and I'm getting desperate. I have a Vbar Evo receiver and would like to use a 760us pulse on the throttle servo for my nitro heli. Is that even possible? I can set the pulse for the swashplate and tail but not for the throttle servo. I am now worried that I might damage the servo... Typing in this video because I am building a Nimbus Nitro 550 :) Thanks for any help!
Hello! Thank you, I greatly appreciate it. I’m glad you enjoy these videos. There is no such thing as a stupid question, well the only one is the one you don’t ask. So I don’t believe the Vbar EVO will do 760 on the throttle servo? I’ll have to look into that. Never tired. But there is no need for 760 on throttle. What servo are you using?
@@westhobbiesrc8051 Im using GDW - BLS995 Servo for tail and throttle. It came with a instruction which mentions: "before connecting to a fbl system the pulse must be set to 760". Im pretty new to these kind of servos and I just got my Vbar for over 2 months now. Thank you very much for looking into it.
Great video! I actually just ordered my Nimbus 550 kit on Friday. It's going to be my next model! Will you be doing a setup video for the Ikon on this model? I know you're super busy but I sent you an email regarding sending my Raw 420 to you a couple of days ago by the way. When you get a chance can you please respond to me there? Thanks again for all your help.
@@westhobbiesrc8051 Thanks again for getting back to me, it's much appreciated. Hope to hear from you soon regarding one more thing 👍. Really appreciate all the work you do for the community
