That's absolutely correct, IF the cable is long enough. However, I routinely build these cables in shorter lengths than the one pictured in this video, and sometimes they're too short to plug one into the other like that. So I just keep an extra connector around to use for this purpose. You can see how much I've used this connector: much of the paint has worn off from being plugged & unplugged, LOL.
