A little about the truck
and whats next before test 2.
some new fans installed on the motor
waiting for fan for ESC
Received MadMax wheel nuts 24mm (next run on Backflips)
will be good and hot by the weekend for the next test

Have you had a chance to do some heavy hard-core bashing with that fan shroud? I was going to buy one of those and I saw some bad reviews about them not being able to handle so I decided to wait on getting one but I saw it on your rig and thought I better ask and find out from someone who actually owns it

I had a couple good crashes..cracked up the body and bumper. Put one in on its lid... and so far so good. It seems sturdy(rigid) so maybe it will crack. I went cheapo with the plastic fans. My maxx is turning into a tank. I did a few more mods that im going to test tomorrow. I'll let you know if something bad happens to the fans.

beat it pretty good today. fans have all their blades and still spinning. mount appears to be solid... it is zip tied to top rails, so it flexes on those rails. and sits below the body... tough to impact directly. so far so good.

@@rcnutzattheranch9270 Man you’re freaking awesome I appreciate the update I’m gonna go ahead and order one I live in Arizona and our average temperature this time of year is about 110 it’s pretty hot but nonetheless thank you for the update I’m gonna go ahead and get one and hopefully it works out like yours

we were 105 the other day today it was 80 when we started and the high temp after a good beating was the esc at 110. fans are running off receiver and fan port at bec voltage 7.4vand whatever the ecs program port has?? tested them on the 4s balance plug and they sound like a ducted fan jet airplane. also heard on high voltage they suck the batterys...
