I was running my xmaxx the other day and near the end I stopped with the wheels turned on a hill and after a couple minutes the servo gears had melted together in place.
Glad to see that I am not the only being in the universe who get his wheels stuck! I found an effective work to get them out, just take a screwdriver or something not too sharp and hammer the wheel from the back, where the axle nut get in. Much less pain than from the front. Or use an extractor tool.
Treat every thing with silicone lubricant wipe a thin coat on everything before reassembling and the next time just hose it off and done i have an yet xl I do this with and it works fine no sand mud or grim.
Hey Kev, where did you get those powerhobby tires? I want the same thing you got right there and cannot find ANYWHERE with them in stock. I’m assuming those are the powerhobby raptor xl belted??
@@BeardedStigg yeah I’ve had enough battling with stock tires and are removing them all together from my truck. I want those tires but cannot find them anywhere. Everywhere is out of stock and I’m pretty sure my hobby shop doesn’t carry them and cannot get them which sucks.
@@SavageX125 ah I see my local shop has a boat load of power hobby lipos and tires. I got the blue rimmed Raptors, wish they had them in orange but what you gonna do lol.
