XP Xtrem Hunter introduction 

This is my dream!! I will carry the Xtreme detector...you carry the post hole digger...and tarp.....and the camera. Just don't come near me with that post hole digger because it is metal.... okay. Benny Hill music playing in the background, dig a 3 foot deep hole and out comes a soda can. Lets do it again man!! Wait...who is gonna fill in this huge hole?....lets use the excavator to fill in the holes okay. Of course my dreams are always a little off!!

I am just guessing why you didn't have a belt on your waist during this video!! Maybe you can have a 3D printed carbon fiber belt buckle made just for when using the Xtrem. I was thinking of some kind of all plastic cart with large wheels so you can push the Xtreme instead of having to carry it like a suitcase. Have a mount for the remote on the cart right in front of you so you do not have to look down. Kind of like a shopping cart with 2 wheels made with all plastic.

The depth reached is really impressive. It's probably a quest not to be alone, especially when digging. 😅My cordial greetings from Brazil

That is not a unit for hobbyist detectorists , imagine have many old gas / water pipes are going to get dug up with it ? 🤣 also not quite surd how its not interested in the large piece of iron , but you cant wear a belt buckle or shoe eyelets 🤔

For anybody doing aircraft crash sites on soft ground I reckon it will be very useful?

How often do you find 2kg of coins . If it could pick one coin then i might be impressed .

You’re without doubt, one of the best presenters of metal detecting videos on RU-vid. Whenever I watch one of your instructional videos, I never have any problems whatsoever understanding what you are explaining. I just wish the same could be said for the vast majority of the other metal detecting related videos I watch on RU-vid! You’re definitely a very good and valued ambassador for XP products!

very good video as always but not for me i`m afraid , suffolk,norfolk,kent ,yorkshire areas would be good for this machine, but not where i live lol

I wish they would address the issues with the deus 2 first.

The sensitivity to gold is important, the gold test should be done in depth

Hello, I'm interested in the XTREME detector and I'm wondering if it would be capable of locating a jar containing 37mm gold coins, buried at a depth of 1 meter in soil heavily polluted with nails, beneath an old cabin. Could you please let me know if the XTREME is suitable for such conditions? Thank you for your reponse

I've seen nothing about how it discriminates and if it could discriminate at what depth does it lose the discrimination and nothing of any kind of depth. I own the world's deepest metal detector lorenz deep Max Z2 and I'm struggling to understand what I'm finding with a one meter Square coil. I've been told I need a 1.5 meter square coil. So unless we start to see some kind of elements of discrimination from this metal detector I would not buy it!

Thanks for this. It looks like an impressive bit of kit. But not one for me. I don't fancy leaving my spade etc behind while I detect, to go back later and dig. I'm sure this will be useful for some people though, or small groups of people. They can share the digging too 😂

Got same effects with my HS3 static metal detector with 15 inch coil looking for hoards and WW2 deposits. No need for me buying this, especially when the price is way too heavy.

I will have to add that to my kit once they release the small sniper coil.... We know its coming.

Hi Gary, can I ask why the Deus 2 would give a signal from an empty hole? Can I also ask how long it took you to dig that hole? Haha. One final question, why does the coil on the back not face the ground?! Seems a bit bizarre. Despite the obvious spelling mistake in the name of the device, it does seem to work great. A great piece of equipment for those that have all the time in the world to go looking for hoards

Thanks buddy, as Philippe pointed out to me, you can always use the belt from the XP pouch. It is non metallic.

Hello Did this device distinguish between iron and non-iron? What is the error of the device? Can you explore the depth of 2 meters with Hunter Extreme Loop? Is the horn that blows for gold, silver, copper, aluminum, etc. different? Thank you for your guidance

Gary, you think there will be an increase in Hords being found? I have a feeling I already know, lol. Imagine the hords that have been out of range?How much extra depth would it give on a civil war buckle for example? We had a spot in the 90’s that trenches had been filled in and my digging buddy dug buckles measured to 32 “ in the wild, not test plot, with a Whites 5900 di pro and 15” coil., all metal mode. Guys who hunt cannon balls would go crazy, at 63, probably past my chance of this great detector since I could not dig that deep anymore.

Excellent production quality. Simple explanation of the product. Ive got a 750 acre permission on prime Celtic, Roman and saxon. Unfortunately the farmer as covered 50% with green waste. This machine can potentially open the permission up again for deeper targets. Thanks for the video. 👍

Thanks for this interesting test, may I know which program used the Deus with the 13" coil? I would be interested in trying the gold field program with zero discrimination!

This machine may find something of historic value, but like a normal detector at a lot less depth, it will just result in MEGA trash being dug at greater depths, with a very small percentage of targets being any good. Trash is trash at any depth. Unless the research gives you a good idea that something may be buried at depth in the area worth digging, it's anybody's guess. 'If in doubt, dig it out' takes on a whole new meaning. You better have a mate with a JCB at hand. Good luck to anyone giving it a go, I am sure there will be successes with this machine.

I can't think of any reason I would want this machine...imagine digging 4 ft deep holes in a field to find a car part...no thanks
