+terrorista31 Game goal was to destroy your enemy's Base (Nexus). While the Blue team were so focused on destroying the enemy's base Nexus, One Red team player uses "teleports" spell to the enemy's base to destroy it for the win. (The teleport was used on the minion that was about to die on the map)
+terrorista31 the player xpeke just barely manages to save his team by using a jumping ability at the most precise of times to destroy the enemy base and secure them the victory
no actually they did. A korean team was the 2012 worlds runner up just 3 or 4 months prior to this, and that team was actually the favorite to win the entire tournament but got upset by TPA.
Every so often i HAVE to come back and watch this again. still blows me away every time. Xpeke has earned my respect for all time. He will be a legend for as long as there is League, and long after.
I'm not even gonna blame SK for raging at the end. You won a teamfight, enemy team lost their top and support which makes up for their engages and the only thing keeping you from winning is actually not going to the enemy base. Then xPeke does this. This glorious play. I'd be mad too if the enemy mid went ham on your nexus and destroys it when you least expect it.
+Putazo Putín Realmente I think that is ocelote's fault because as elise he has the only cc skill on the team. He never recall back. If you pay attention to the mini map at minute 2:33 the icon of the champ elise is standing still for almost 4 seconds. So it was his fault, is the most logic explanation I can come with.
an xpeke backdoor has to be a hard fought one, none of that D CANE, STOP THE PORTS!!!, nexus 1 shot bullshit. it has to involve dodging abilities and kiting.
No one listened Ocelote when he sout to someone stay base to protect Nexus. This was the failure of the other members of the team, cause he warned! Xpeke make the greatest move in lol history just because that mistake. Very well done sir, you're part of history now Xpeke, congrats from Brazil.
I feel bad for Oce, just because everyone is so harsh on him when he showed his emotions after the game. I may be a girl, but to lose a tough match in a series after you almost won, I would be inconsolable. That was a great move by Xpeke though.
i know how hard it is to loose national championship games in RL sports. so i can imagine how hard it is to loose a game like this. Showing emotions is happening automaticly. You cant do anythign about it and it is completly okay
You gotta remember: Back then the game was a lot slower and even animations were slower, pulling this off required a ton of prediction and skill You can't compare that to todays fast pacing
... well, rather report janna elise ezreal for chasing 1 person for 20s when they can clearly see kassa is in their base. Ezreal janna and elise clearly lost the game. I cant even describe this Bronze ending... horrible horrible play.
enternamehere wtf they thought that the olaf alone got this....they even sent cho back and the rest of the team didnt chase...thsy tried to end the game....next time better think about calling any competetive team noob or bronze They exactly know what they are doing - always

This was insane, and now with the new song and xPeke being in it, the fucking nostalgia kicked in, god I wish I could relieve the moment as if it just happened
December 2021, about to be 2022 and still think of this play from time to time. No play in League history give me chills like this one. Hats off to that epic play
I think this was the best moment that had happend in lol esports , oh yeah btw the song that started playing when they won th match was perfect for it too.
yeah exactly that's my point, because if cyanide (rammus) din't keep cho'gath in combat, he would back 2-3 seconds before and just eat xpeke with feast.
Watching this now, after some experience with the game.. Oh My God.. The moment, I'd have hugged him even if I was against him haha Fucking beautiful..
Jafas2000gb I'm pretty sure they did win 1 million dollars from this. LOL! With just 200,000 of it. They would make as much money as a lot of people would over 4-6 years of work.
I will rremember this xPeke. U r the best Midlaner in the world and even when Fnatic play bad its just over time and u will make a comeback out of every thing. xPeke best player, Fnatic best team.
Alex Cooper By the noobs or on the high elo like diamond (maybe master) and challenger but in medium elos like gold platinum and silver is never banned or at least i haven't seen any banned kassadin in these elos
to all the people complaining about him crying this game had 2million dollar reward to the winner i would be fucking balling as well had i just lost 2million dollars like that and people that bitch about them wasting their lives they get paid to play games all day
Steven Griffith Stop lying... This was at IEM Katowice 2013 in the group stage. Fnatic didn't even win the competition but this win allowed them to advance to the quarter finals.
This is magnificent; no League player has done or will do this. It should be featured on the RIOT launcher as an intro before entering the game. :) This guy is special; all credit to him. Many have tried in their edits to do this, and no one has succeeded. Anyone who played League at that time knows there were many video edits trying to do the same thing as the magnificent Xpeke.
