You forgot to add that the Sony is capable of 4k 120fps on ALL lenses, not just the main lens. Samsung is only able to shoot 4k 120fps on its main lens.

As an ex-Sony 1V user, I totally disagree with you. I'm a photographer, and the only useful lens is the main lens; all the other lenses are totally trash. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra Pro mode is miles better than the Sony manual photo results.

On my Xperia 1V I have the exposure set to -0.7 by default, otherwise almost all shots come out overexposed. It's so weird that Sony is incapable of fixing this issue

the overexposure is caused by the face/eye AF. It tends to expose the face of the subject when it detects one. Face/eye AF prioritizes exposure on the face and just ignore everything else. Turn it off and the results are different. Sony's maybe thinking that everyone shoots in raw and process the image later. 😂

If you guys think photos are not colourful on Sony there's a Vivid option in the Creative Looks part. It's not over saturated but is a bit more closer to real life colours. On the other hand, the default mode for this is Standard which is basically Sony Alpha camera settings for editing later. There's a Natural mode too although unsure it's real life colours or some kind of natural rendition of colours. Either way that's a tip or two I guess 🤷🏻‍♂️

They have a headphone jack, sd slot and an uninterrupted screen. To get great shots you'll have to manually adjust. But imo they've made a mistake with the 1vi. As that niche wants a 4k 21:9 screen

@@NetvoTV you typed that in one of the most confusing ways possible, but this is what i understood it as. your saying that because the s24u can zoom upto 100x, i will regularly use 100x, which i, personally, will, but most people wont. they may go further than 5x but no more than maybe 20x. if you bought the sony you might go more than 7.2x but no more 15x. in short im saying that just because the best quality is 5 or 7.2x, doesnt mean people are only going to go up to those numbers if they buy that phone

Also you barely talked about the Macro mode, there's a big difference between the both of them, one is with the Ultrawide and the other with the Telephoto. You not wrong but the terms that they use is wrong sony phone is for who who love camera and want to dive in more into photography and videography like me i own lg v50 to learn photo and video but still it lack pro features that sony only have and also own cheap point and shoot camera, i gotta say it is more enjoyable to take videos and photo on any real camera it gives you different feeling compare to smartphone. Thats why sony bringing camera experience to their smartphone. Im sure there is one thing you like such as your hobby you will go deep to learn and love it more. Sony phone already doing great with their hardware but not doing great with the software and also with their marketing of the phone and price😊

I'm a video camera user and sorry Sony, but your smartphone camera is just cr*p. Most of the videos are way blown out and overexposed and I've tested this phone. To be clear, I am no longer a Sammy fan since the S23 ultra, but definitely the video quality and stabilisation is better on Samsung. I would appreciate if you could make a video only comparison between Vivo x100 ultra / S24 ultra / iPhone 15 pro max. The photo cameras have been over tested but the video side is lacking of competition. Would really appreciate it. ❤

Not sure why Sony does it this way but HDR is off by default, what's even more odd is that the highest level of stabilisation (OIS + EIS) is not selected be default, rather, it's set to the middle level which is EIS only

i think a software update can fix the white balance and exposure compensation metrics......this time sony had touted a better improved telephoto lens from 85 to 170 mm but i think it needs more improvement and sharpening....the audio also got a boost but slightly pales in comparison with the galaxy......nice work.....👍

The over exposure on the Sony is not really acceptable considering it's price; but can the exposure be manually changed even when in auto mode?. I can do this on my S23 Ultra, and this ability is invaluable to me when shooting video outdoors especially.

One thing I noticed about this channel is that they occasionally missed out on several important phone features from their deduction...and I have watched a few. But I get it, Samsung won at run and gun scenarios. If people wanted to justify fiddling manual settings like iso shutter speeds, strapping on an ND filter then why bother, just get an actual camera. Samsung won this round. Out of all Android manufacturer, Samsung IMHO have the best software optimisation/features second to iPhones.

i have been an xperia user for last 6 years. One thing i can tell you guys. With the iphones and samsungs and other phones, the phone decides how the pictures will be and you pretty much cannot do anything to make it the way you want it to look. Whereas In the sony YOU choose how you want it to look. Sony is for the person who knows what exactly their pictures should look like. All the other phones are for people who don't mind the phone controlling their pictures' looks as long as the user looks good in the pictures. It is like choosing to make a home cooked meal where each and every ingredient is chosen by you, vs eating at a restaurant. There is no way someone doesn't like how restaurant food tastes. But sure one can mess up a home cooked meal.

In my opinion when it comes to the camera it is very close and it is more about what you think is best for you.Samsung is the king of zoom and megapixels where Sony is the king of macro and manual adjustments.The camera is very comparable but as a overall device I believe that Sony one mark VI is a Samsung S24 Plus competitor and not the Ultra.From my knowledge the s24 Plus with a 2k screen, 6.7 inch and 512 gb lands in the same price as Sony or slightly cheaper.When you add much better support, better security, better availability Samsung it is a no brainier.If Sony added a quad jack for that hole to make sense, a 2k screen or at least one of these inorder to match Sony as a company it would've had some logic regarding the price tag.

I do t know if my Xperia was faulty, but video quality is poor. I have both phones, deciding which to keep and IMO Galaxy recording much better video. Xperia lack of details in any situation.

Sony must start working more on software, it cannot compete only with hardware, since mobile phones are too small to be able to properly exploit the capabilities of the hardware

Bokeh mode tends to blowout the background because the whole point is to draw your attention to the subject. Even though thr S24 is more evenly exposed, my focus on the subject is drawn to different parts of the photo. This is photography 101.

That's because they always drop the exposure and warm it up, and watch the background light. In the right situation it can rock but needs nursing.
