The series is produced and directed by Pogus Caesar for Carlton UK Productions and a Central programme. March 1995, 2.50pm Friday.
XPRESS was a seven part series highlighting the best in multi - cultural entertainment from the Central region - with features on everything from comedy, cookery, fashion, music and the arts.
The series is presented by Radha Menon and Titus Dawo. Contributions include: Black literature with Dotun Adebayo, music from Coventy songstress Charlotte, bespoke fashion from Gaffer Mohammed, master chef Dennis Brown prepares the 15 Minute Meal, Northampton Museum and Art Gallery shoe collection, Rozalla talks about life on the road with Michael Jackson and Video Slam.
Says producer and director Pogus Caesar: "We'll be taking a positive look at the ways different cultures Xpress themselves in Britain today."
This series of XPRESS was awarded a certificate of honour from Prix Circom Regional in recognition of exemplary professional work in regional television.
