Kephrii was so annoying in this game. He wants everyone to play around his widow even though like xqc points out the enemy team has a really solid dive comp. I'm guessing this is why no league teams wanted to pick him up.
They say kephrii is a one trick. But personally, Kephrii has the highest hour played as widow and he wants to keep it that way. Also because of the advantages that a widow has like better vision of the field plus higher damage, he has to be the carrier, and for that to work he needs team work. Just imagine playing against kephrii, he always changes position so you don't know were to shoot , he stays hidden, at first sight he shoots you, he has more burst damage, he is far away , if you pick widow he will defeat you but, if enemy team dives in hard on kephrii then he will die, for that kephrii needs control and team work, and because they are not used to kephrii is forced to ask the team to cooperate. You may say that is not fair but think of it, are you used to play against this strategy? cause if not you will 90% loose this matches. Plus kephrii went to military, he knows some strategys and applies in games. And last thing, when he said team stop the payload. he meant it, cause whats the point of playing widow if you stay out open in the battlefield. that doest make sense.
I do think keph is a good widow not the best but good but he doesn't know when to switch and he wants everybody to play around him go what they aren't good at just so he can have a dva or a shield or whatever he needs he is a good shot but a bad player
he does know when to switch its just that he is not able to play any other heroes at a high level. he said at the end they needed more damage then he should have gone soldier or mccree but he cant play those heroes.

he doesn't even solo q a lot you always see him message people "hey wanna q up" "hey wanna stack" with these "professionals" he has a decent mccree. the only times he really switches is when the enemy is about to take the last point and they need to stall. keph also has been wanting to join professional teams and has been trying out but gets rejected because he's a one trick. he wants to play professionally but refuses to put in any of the work
"we need more damage"- plays the second dps and doesn't swap. When you are playing as dps, it's you job to fill what you team needs. If they need more damage, kephrii should swap, not any of the tanks or the healers. He triggers me so much.

Maybe he doesn't want to be in the OWL. If I had the opportunity, I would turn down. I don't want to travel a lot and would want to be with my wife. I'm not even close to being married but I'm know abandoning your wife is bad. Most, if not all (idk if people are married) of the OWL players are single people who WANT to play professionally. Saying things about why kephrii is not in the OWL is like saying that for ANY other GM/Top500 player.
Phos4us Kephrii doesn't mind traveling and his wife has always been flexible and supportive of him (just watch their vlogs). I know he's said that he could be in the league or on a team, but that there's some bullshit holding him back (eg people don't like him, widow one-trick, etc).

whiskey jack xqc is very good, you shouldn’t bash one and “defend” the other. They are both great players that are both hated by the public. And you shouldn’t say that he plays a low skill hero, just imagine a team without a tank, it is almost insta lost. Kephrii on the other hand was a great player, but everyone is hating him now so he’s not in his best spot right now, i’m pretty sure that’s one of the main reasons he is doing bad. And yeah he was very cocky, but sometimes he is right.

How can u say xqc plays low skill ceiling heroes? To play tanks like orisa, roadhog, Winston, rein and sometimes zarya at a top 500 level against other pros and top 500 players is very hard. Not to mention that he's been doing pretty good on dps like tracer, mccree
Honestly, it doesn't matter if he can play dps at a high level or not, the main thing is that he's one of the best tank players in the world, and top 500 DPS players are a dime a dozen. People always pull out that "low skill ceiling" nonsense (which is abject nonsense) because people that can't, complain. They have no idea how to be a good tank and think magically that "shooting at stuff good" means somebody's more valuable.
Lol, Dallas only has 2 native english speakers on the roster, one of which is Australian with at least as strong of an accent as xQc's french Canadian one. Any OWL team absolutely has a communication strategy to encompass weird accents, fast talkers, and non-native English speakers.

Do any of the ppl hating kephrii even watch his streams? He is not a one trick, and he will switch, I have seen him play a variety of heroes. His mei and reaper are good, of course he can play widow. I've seen him ana, mercy, dva, reinhardt, tracer, soldier, and bastion. One tricks refuse to switch and play ONE hero all the time. If u actually watch kephrii he does play other heroes. And he does have team coordination, he is always doing call outs and being a team player. yes he can be arrogant but that isn't any different from any other top 500 player, shit even diamond and below act like they are the greatest thing to walk the earth and play overwatch. Mostly its preference, I prefer the calm and methodical and sometimes funny kephrii over the man screaming half garbled words who seems to be throwing a temper tantrum

I believe XQC is overrated and need to clean up his act. He's a good tank but not as good as many tanks in OWL. Kephrii is a huge one trick and needs to learn how to be more flex for his teams. Ryugamine how come everytime I watch his stream (im not a fan of him as a stream or a person, I know how bad he is) he almost nevers loses the widow battle. kephrii is a good widow but nowhere near the top widows, also he’s one of the most famous one trick ponies in game and having him on your team doesn’t look like fun since you basically have to play around him or get stomped by the enemy team because he can’t play other heroes at a gm level

Not just XQC actually. Moonmoon, Calvin and Taimou are all acting a little childish as well. Appearently they all saw that he gained most of his fame by bashing other widow mains who where supposedly pro back then but have fallen into obscurity now so to this day they assume the only reason he'd ever want to talk to another streamer is to use them to gain fame. Muma, Gale, iddqd and so on do not seem to be under that impression so they don't mind playing with Keph. Actually the only one of the first 4 that surprises me is Moonmoon because he usually seems like a genuinely nice person that forms opinions after observing and not by going with whatever his chat tells him. Calvin on the other hand is an okay guy but loves to get into beef with pretty much everyone and xQc and Taimou are literally cancer. In fact take those 2, add dafran and effect and you have what might be 4 of the most toxic OW pros in general. And funnily enough 3 of them are in the same team.

But then again it's less me liking anyone and more me disliking most of Dallas Fuels roster. Have you played Overwatch at a high level? Or ever tanked? If stopping the cart was the sole purpose why would teams hold high ground? What XQC meant by the cart isn’t everything is due to the situation at hand, when he said that take a look at the kill feed a few seconds before and during his comment. 2 kills to 1 for the defenders accounting for the spawn walk back times. So XQC saw the cart was far enough away from checkpoint and wanted to clear the whole attacking team before going back to cart. Unfortunately they were unorganized and spaced out (which benefits Kephrii on Widow) so the Dva came from spawn and killed XQC.
That makes sense. On escort maps I actually always wondered why people don't hold on the cart with high dps+shield tanks so they don't all just get bursted off. Especially in competitive where distance is basically all that matters; who can get it the furthest. I mean, I understand that the high ground puts you at an advantage by making headshots easier? But outside of that I honestly don't understand it. Like I said, I'm still fairly new to OW, just trying to learn what I can. And I have tanked some but I prefer the defense heroes.
HeritageDrPepper As a Top 500 Lucio Main the best way I can put it, is that OW is like a lot of other games in that positioning is EVERYTHING. A lot of strength of a position comes in flexibility not necessarily rigidness like you’d think. The best Orisa and Bastion mains play very mobile compared to at lower Elos. Also teams at higher elos are better at working together, peeling, healing, moving, focusing. Basically communicating in general. Final point to your sit on cart approach. That’s totally how I saw the game when I first started playing it but after dying ever so many times on the cart on defense on Dorado for example getting flanked. You realize that the flankable forward position on the cart on defense is a tough position to play in and not necessarily ground you want to hold.
See the thing i don't like about xQc is hes too salty of a person. Like he was in such a panic to get out of that game and didn't want to watch Kephrii's highlight. What happened to the "i give credit where its due" at around 13:40? Like he even went to the length of blocking the stream from watching it. That part was uncool and total disrespect to Kephrii sure Keph can be self centered from time to time, but damn the hypocrisy is real. It was even the part where he unblocked him!

The only bad thing here is not the counter for widow, is the team that doesn't play with you but against you. Imagine you are skilled enough to kill their counter to your widow and you still kill them , how do they counter that? But most of the people instead of using their brains they talk shit and leave kephrii alone.
