In the coming decades, we will see a revolution in the field of energy generation and conversion, that will secure sustainable energy supplies for our society. Reaching a decarbonised economy requires collaborative “research and development” efforts in combining theoretical, computational and experimental approaches. In this video, the Energy for Society Network (XRE4S) showcases the main infrastructures from our members, with the focus to bring solutions to current energy challenges related to low carbon technologies.
The Network is a multidisciplinary and transversal ecosystem that gathers the expertise in the energy field of the main universities and research centers in Catalonia. The main goal is to promote the technology transfer and valorisation of energy technologies to industry and society.
