XRE4S technology portfolio: Nanostructured flexible fabrics for TE power generation (IREC) 

The Nanoionics and Fuel Cells group at IREC has developed a revolutionary technology to obtain
thermoelectric materials with high performance and low cost. The material is made of thin-walled microtubes, providing high flexiblility and a fabric-like texture.
This technology is a result from the research, development and innovation from the Prometeo project (Explora) cofinanced by ERDF and MINECO; from the Siggnal project (Retos de la Sociedad) financed by ERDF/MICINN-AEI; and the FEM-IoT project (Emergents) co-financed by ERDF within the framework of the ERDF Operational Program of Catalonia 2014-2020.
