Bitcoin has 19 million coins in its circulating supply, and XRP has 50 billion. There has never been a coin that has done anything for investors with this high of supply. This is the elephant in the room that is never discussed.

If the Institutions need to own XRP for transacting business, they and Ripple need to get the Retail investors out of ownership. We don't bring anything positive to this equation and add volatility when the Financials need stable value. It would seem that a Buyout offer would be forthcoming or Ripple comes out with a new coin if they can't get everyone to sell.
So why wouldn’t institutions take advantage of the dirt cheap price now to buy XRP ? Excluding the USA, which is 25% of world’s GDP, why wouldn’t the remaining 75% FOMO into XRP now given that SEC has no justification outside USA ? The mechanism by which XRP reaches triple figures is not clear to me and the only explanation offered is it won’t work if it’s cheap. That’s sounds like circular reasoning. I hold XRP and want it to go sky high. But not sure how it gets there.
even 100$ would still be cheap, some buy at 100 would not regret it later, only thing they would regrant is, that they did not buy month earlier, and got far more xrp for the same amount of money.
take % out when it hits your price target, leave rest for another price target, keep repeating. If it goes to those prices then you only need a little.

it has to come out with at least 4 or 5 digits to move billions or trillions. Even if 3 intuition's use it coming out the gate, it doesn't make sense to move billions and trillions with a 1k coin. Why would they even sign up for that???

am i right to think this way? the reason why xrp price needs to be so high coz so many banks and financial institutions want xrp for transactions to get things moving when fiat debt system are dead due to self imploded out of its own dynamic and time. So demand and supply will push the xrp high up by these entities while retail investors would have sold earlier.
This will be an opportunity for the banks to play the market but doing it with a currency and not a security. This opens a brand new revenue stream for the institutions that in the past could not be involved in speculation
0.33 XRP it's a steal didn't do my research on it till few months ago but it all turned to make sense for me recently, a lot of worldwide banks and institutions partnered with ripple and keep developing it's worth to be a high percentage holding in any crypto portfolio in my opinion, even if is not re-listed in the US they can still do business with other countries the world it's very big
Can someone explain with the idea of DeCentralized money....the large institutions with not exists if everyone can just P2P and not use the middleman-banks..since the banks are currently essentially holding everyones money?...But when we hold are own money why would large institutions exists especially to perform transactions?
Common folks may P2P... but banks move money for businesses, large investors, and governments which won't P2P. Plus, many folks, even if they convert to digital money, will not want to manage that money, or, store that money. I suspect there will always be a desire for banks to manage people's money. Maybe banks will become obsolete for some segments of society but in general banks will simply switch the service they provide from cash/checks to digital management services. However... right now 3rd party intermediaries (banks) are almost a necessity, but in the future they will simply be one option when folks decide how to handle their money... i.e. there will be a choice.

I think this needs reviewing. I don’t believe they make payments cheaper and it doesn’t effect burn rate as it’s per transaction. It needs to be high for liquidity reasons or there won’t be enough xrp for banks to play stocks and convert cbdc and transfer between institutions and banks. It has to be high so enough to go around and to cancel out the huge debt.
But Ripple and the banks can make the sale of XRP private amongst themselves. $10k when bought and sold by banks. Not the same with retail at the exchanges

Xrp does not need to be worth $10k to work unless u thinks it going to be the only x border payment system that exists, that is never going to happen, there will always be competition. Just like there are multiple central banks there will be multiple cross border payment systems. Therefore there is no reason for xrp to be worth a $quadrillion

The fact that all this hype is surrounding XRP doesn't bode well for its price. Rarely do assets go parabolic when they have a lot of fan boys. It's the ones that fly under the radar that have the highest returns.

What do you think about this? Swift network moves around 5t daily. lets say xrp takes over swift network and lets assume xrp needs a 5t marketcap xrp would be worth 100 dollars. However, I think because the fast transactions I don't think xrp needs to be that high but on the flip side maybe it needs to be higher to stay stable. what do you think?
Doesn't matter how fast the transactions are. What happens when the 2nd party doesnt sell his xrp?? Liquidity crisis. ODL cannot work if xrp is dirt cheap. The fees are higher when you need high quantities of the token. So obviously the higher the price the less tokens needed which means less fees.
Worldwide XRP is not difficult to access. I think Ripple couldn't care less one way or the other b/c they would have not allowed it to stay on the retail market. They have lots of money for a repurchase.
